Mips® safety systems are designed to redirect rotational motion away from the head from cycling to MotoGP™ and everything in-between.
Om oss
Mips is an innovative company focusing on science-based product development. The secret behind Mips’ patented technology comes from the human brain. The brain is surrounded by a low-friction cushion of cerebrospinal fluid. Mips mimics the brain’s own way of protecting itself by giving the Mips®-equipped helmet its own low-friction layer between the helmet and the head. The Mips® low friction layer can absorb a portion of the energy created by an angled impact by enabling the helmet to slide relative to the head on impact.

The Mips® Integra TX system complements the traditional fabric-and-foam comfort padding with an integrated low-friction layer. The system provides movement to help reduce rotational motion to the head in certain angled impacts, without altering comfort and fit or adding weight to the helmet. Designed for full coverage helmets like moto, snow, equestrian and full-face bike helmets.

Last week we were once again part of Eurobike, one of the world’s biggest cycling shows. It was a fantastic show meeting brand partners, media, and many interested visitors at our booth. We're pleased to see that helmet safety remains a key topic and we're proud to contribute to this important conversation. Product updates from us at this time were, among other things, the evolution of the Mips Air Node solution with a softer feel and better sweat management. On top of all these great things this year, we were also happy to be joined by Quin, presenting our new partnership and how we are working on bringing data from real life accidents into helmet development. Thank you again and see you next year at Eurobike! #eurobike2024
