And don’t forget to wish her a happy birthday 🎉    ▶ Describe a typical day in your life at Nordberg Medical.  I work in a hybrid setup at Nordberg Medical, splitting my time between remote work in Porto, Portugal, and monthly visits to our Stockholm office. As a Social Media and Content Specialist, I focus on both strategy and creativity, developing long-term plans, generating content ideas, and collaborating with teams across Marketing, Sales, R&D, HR, and external designers. This cross-functional approach keeps my work dynamic and ensures cohesive, compliant strategies. Currently, I’m focusing on developing the 2025 content strategy, aligning it with our brand vision and optimizing it for digital platforms to deliver impactful and engaging content.    ▶ How does working at Nordberg Medical align with your values?   I’ve been with Nordberg Medical for over 2.5 years and have had the privilege of contributing to the company culture. Meet Juliette Rouquet! As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, she plays a key role in shaping our team by identifying and bringing in top talent to drive our success. Discover our approach to talent acquisition and what you can expect from the recruitment process at Nordberg Medical as a candidate.    ▶ Tell us about your role at Nordberg Medical.  I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist based on the border between Germany and France. My focus is on collaborating with the business to bring in talented colleagues from across Europe who can contribute to Nordberg Medical’s success. It’s essential to take a strategic approach to talent acquisition, as it impacts not only hiring but also onboarding and the long-term engagement of our employees. After new employees join, I work together with the managers to ensure smooth onboarding processes and continue supporting their development through training and by empowering our managers to create an environment where our employees can thrive.     ▶ What can candidates expect from Nordberg Medical’s recruitment process?  There are three main ways to enter our recruitment process: Apply for one of our open roles, be referred by an employee or be contacted directly by me or one of my colleagues, usually via LinkedIn. Here’s what the process looks like after that:  - Initial conversation with someone from the Talent Acquisition team.  - The hiring team reviews candidates and selects those to meet with the hiring manager for a first interview  - Complete a personality and logic test.  - Behavioural interview with a member of the HR team, with a focus on our company culture and values.  - Reference check using an online tool.  - If successful, we will make an offer. For certain roles, there may be an additional interview with our CEO or a cross-functional team member.  - Upon joining, all new employees go through a structured onboarding process to get acquainted with our business and departments.    My advice for the recruitment process? Be completely honest. It’s as much about you interviewing us as it is about us interviewing you. Meet our APAC Partnership Manager at Nordberg Medical, Vernon Lau! He has played a key role in developing the regional strategy and establishing vital partnerships across the APAC region. Learn more about his responsibilities and why he believes Nordberg Medical is set for continued success in expanding into new markets.    ▶ Tell us what you do at Nordberg Medical.  As the APAC Partnership Manager, I am responsible for planning and executing the regional strategy while overseeing product registration in collaboration with our internal Regulatory Affairs (RA) team. In the pre-launch phase, my focus is on building a strong community of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establishing a solid foundation for the brand, both of which are crucial to our business success.    ▶ You have been with Nordberg Medical for 1,5 years. How has the company evolved since you have joined?  It has been an honour to join the company in its early stages and witness its rapid growth. Starting with fewer than 20 employees, we now have about 60+ employees globally. In April of 2024, we established our first entity and team in Asia, based in Hong Kong, and the energy and efficiency of the Nordberg team are truly inspiring. Furthermore, it’s encouraging to see the company continually investing in product research and clinical studies. I am confident that these efforts will lead us to great success.    ▶ How does your role contribute to the overall growth and strategy of Nordberg Medical in the APAC region?  As mentioned, we have successfully established our first Asian office and team in Hong Kong. As the initial launch market for the APAC region, the Hong Kong team has already formed partnerships with a group of renowned KOLs, gathering valuable insights and market intelligence. As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Nordberg Medical, Emelie plays a key role in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee development, helping to drive the company’s growth. Learn more about Emelie’s experience joining Nordberg Medical ↓   ▶ Tell us a bit about you do at Nordberg Medical. I have recently joined Nordberg Medical as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, within the HR department. In my role, I provide support and guidance in key areas, including talent acquisition, onboarding of new employees, learning and development, and performance management, all while working alongside a fantastic team.    Initially, my primary focus will be on the Nordic region and emerging markets. While we already have a presence in several European countries, as well as in Hong Kong, our ongoing expansion efforts are concentrated on growing in both established and emerging markets. At present, we are particularly excited about expanding our presence in the US, and I am excited to be part of this journey.    ▶ How has your onboarding experience been at Nordberg Medical?  The onboarding process has been well-structured, comprising both role-specific and general Nordberg Medical onboarding sessions. Although we are still in the scale-up phase, we already have excellent tools and systems in place to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.      ▶ How have your colleagues and team helped you settle into your new role?  I have been welcomed with incredible warmth and already feel like a valued member of the team. During my first week, my colleagues from other locations visited the Stockholm office to meet with the rest of the team. We even enjoyed a team outing to try traditional Swedish cuisine, which helped us bond on a personal level. Everyone has been proactive in organising onboarding sessions, answering my questions, and introducing me to key stakeholders, making the transition smooth and seamless. Meet Emanuele Epifani! As the Medical Affairs Manager for Italy at Nordberg Medical. Learn more about Emanuele’s day-to-day responsibilities, including designing clinical studies and building key relationships with doctors and scientific societies, and discover why he believes Nordberg Medical is at the forefront of innovation in regenerative medicine. ▶ Tell us what you do at Nordberg Medical.  As the Medical Affairs Manager for Italy, I am responsible for supporting the development of the medical plan in Italy, ensuring it aligns with the corporate strategy. This involves designing and implementing clinical studies to generate new scientific evidence for the medical community. A key aspect of my role is establishing relationships with doctors and scientific societies to better understand patients’ needs and develop collaborative projects of mutual interest. Internally, I also support the medical and scientific needs of commercial, marketing, regulatory, and global functions. ▶ What are the key challenges you face in your role, and how do you address them?  As a Medical Affairs Manager, one key challenge is navigating the complexities of clinical developments in biotechnological biomaterials, which require deep scientific understanding and careful coordination. I address this by constantly seeking innovative and creative solutions while working closely with doctors, scientists, and global colleagues. Another challenge is balancing the need for scientific evidence with the commercial and regulatory demands of the business. To overcome this, I maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stay updated on the latest advancements in regenerative medicine. ▶ What skills or experiences are you most excited to bring to Nordberg Medical?  I am thrilled to bring my strong passion for creating scientific value in the field of regenerative medicine to Nordberg. Over the years, I have held various roles in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and orthopaedics, where I have worked to discover groundbreaking therapeutic solutions for a range of conditions and diseases. I look forward to contributing my biotechnological expertise, strategic thinking, and scientific communication skills to foster partnerships that drive innovation.
