  • Breakfast Lecture on Slussen – Past, Present, and Future with Pernilla Johnni Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Pernilla Johnni, project manager at Stockholm’s Traffic Administration and involved in the Project Slussen since 2012, for an insightful presentation on one of Stockholm’s largest infrastructure projects. Slussen is the vital link between Stadsholmen/Old Town and Södermalm, as well as the border between Södermanland and Uppland, a place for trade, human encounters, commerce, and transport since the 1600s. About 80 years after the last renovation, Slussen is being completely rebuilt to improve safety and secure drinking water for two million people. The project also focuses on modern traffic solutions, prioritizing cyclists and pedestrians, and transforming the area into a vibrant meeting place for Stockholmers.
