The other day it was announced that NLTG and the Greek property developer Premia Properties, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, has formed a new strategic partnership.   The first step in this partnership is that Premia will acquire our well-known hotels Sunwing Resort Kallithea Beach on Rhodes, Sunwing Makrigialos and Ocean Beach Club on Crete. The hotels will continue to be operated in the same way by NLTG as they have been since the 70ies. The next step with the new partnership is that we together with Premia will explore and develop new concept hotels in Greece, for the benefit of our guests. Greece is our biggest destination country for the summer season, and we see especially strong demand for our own hotel concepts to Greece, so therefore this is particularly important for us. In our efforts to reduce our climate footprint, an important part is to find solutions for the reuse of products that are no longer used, such as towels and sheets. That's why we've partnered with the upcycling company Reused Remade, which gives discarded towels and sheets a new lease of life as brand new products ♻️ The products will be available for purchase at our own family and adult hotels from the end of July. Recently, our Group Management visited Cape Verde, the West African country with 350 days of sunshine per year 🤙. The aim was to get to know the destination that has become one of our most popular winter destinations and is growing steadily. 📈 It was a rewarding few days with hotel visits, meetings with hotel partners, destination staff and not least with Cape Verde's Minister of Tourism, Carlos Santos. Since we started with trips to the island of Sal in Cape Verde just over ten years ago on a small scale, we have increased our market share of holiday trips from the Nordic region to just over 60% this winter. The key to success has been to develop a product that meets the needs of many different guests with the customer in focus and in collaboration with local partners, and to deliver the best weeks of the year to our guests through dedicated employees. We are looking forward to the next ten years in Cape Verde and have gathered lots of ideas on how to develop and grow in Cape Verde in the future 🏝️ #nltg #kapverde

In 2023, we achieved a significant milestone for our concept hotels, with 91% of the electricity coming from renewable sources. This year, the goal is to reach 100% 🌍   In addition to this, we have invested in green technology, and together with Sunclass Airlines, we have reduced our CO2 emissions per passenger kilometer by 2.2% - entirely according to our plan 🛫   You can read more about this and much more in our new ESG report, which has just been published. Last night, the prize for the “HR System Project of the Year” was awarded to the organization that, together with its system supplier or partner, succeeded best with the implementation of a new HR system ✨ We are incredibly proud and happy to announce that Nordic Leisure Travel Group, NLTG, together with CatalystOne Solutions won the prize for the HR System Project of the Year 🏆 📸 On site to receive the prize were Vanessa Eriksson, Fredrik Wessel and Viktor Ekelund from NLTG, as well as Roger Lif, Markus Ekestam and Viveka Boettge from CatalystOne. #nltg #catalystone
