Another remarkable milestone for Norrsken House Stockholm alumni, Flower! 🌱 Just months after their impressive €25M raise, Flower has secured an additional €20M, bringing their total Series A funding to a groundbreaking €45M – a historic leap towards giving the energy sector a high-performance upgrade and making clean energy not only simpler but smarter! With backing from Sony Innovation Fund, Giant Ventures, and Swedish VC powerhouse Pär-Jörgen Pärson joining the board, Flower is truly blooming. Following their acquisition of Sweden’s largest battery park and with international expansion on the horizon, founder John Diklev and his team are ones to watch. Keep the good news coming, John! 🚀

⚡ ️ Powering the path to fossil-free. Blykalla, and ABB are joining forces to develop Blykalla’s advanced nuclear reactor technology, supporting Sweden’s ambitious decarbonization goals. Blykalla’s Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and unique SEALER-E design has the ability to bring reliable, clean energy to the grid with enhanced safety, flexibility, and lower capital costs. It can even repurpose old power sites (pretty cool!). All crucial steps toward net zero. Congratulations to the Blykalla team on reaching this huge milestone. 👏 And, see you next week in Barcelona! Zero emissions at 35,000 feet? Check. Impact/100 2024 alum, Aerospace startup Beyond Aero secures a €20M Series A funding round! Beyond Aero has now raised a total of $44M to tackle one of aviation's greatest challenges: emissions-heavy business flights. Beyond Aero’s tech achieves a zero-emission flight, releasing only water (yep, water) as a byproduct, and rewrites the rules of clean air travel. €914M in pre-orders and France’s first manned hydrogen-electric flight prove it - Beyond Aero is making zero-emission aviation possible, no compromises. Talk about redefining “air freshener”. Congrats to the Beyond Aero team! Keep blowing our minds! 🙌

🚀 Norrsken Launcher is investing in a new future for textile! Founded by Dr. Jade Abir Bouledjouidja, Renasens AB has cracked the code on recycling blended textiles, like polycotton, which make up 50% of global textile waste. Using a NASA-inspired process, they transform mixed waste into high-quality yarns with minimal energy use, without breaking down the fibers. With trials already showing promise and demand rising, Renasens AB is ready to scale and close the loop on textile waste. It’s a bold step towards solving one of the fashion industry's biggest environmental challenges and making textile recycling commercially viable. ♻️ Welcome to Norrsken, Jade Abir Bouledjouidja and team Renasens AB!
