To match the excitement for the world's first coffee capsule made for liquid oats, we build suspense in this post by not telling you what awesome stuff we'll do at Nespresso stores worldwide to celebrate our collab. This will surely increase our click-through rate to the oatly.com/nespresso link, taking you to the first-come-first-served limited events without stealing the attention of everybody's excitement for the world's first coffee capsule made for oat drink.

If you’re a fact-checker concerned about a tech company who’s seemingly lost interest in facts and data and science, it could be time to consider an oat drink company who is still very much interested in facts and data and science. Sure, oats may not be as sexy as busting child eating conspiracies, or big time election lies or alien abduction theories, but did you hear how oat drink is disrupting the retrograde patterns of the moon? – okay we made that one up, but believe it or not, there’s a lot of stuff being said about oat drink these days (see the Internet) and seriously, who knows what to believe anymore? So if you think it might be cool to help fight misinformation in the oat drink universe you can start by taking a look at our Small Nutrition Book at oatly.com/nutrition and if it passes your sniff test, just reach out to this totally legit email address: futurefactchecker@oatly.com and let’s talk science!

IF YOU’RE NOT INTO GIGGS, PERHAPS YOU’RE INTO WIGS.   This week we’re not only launching a collab with the UK rap legend Giggs, we’re also in court! At 10:30 AM GMT today, Suits representing Big Dairy will argue that only companies using cows have the right to use the word ’milk’. If they’re successful, we (or anyone else making plant-based products) might not be able to say things like ”The Post Milk Generation”. You can follow the show from the Court of Appeal in London at the livestream below. And feel free to comment! Beware though, using the word ”milk” is at your own risk.

Check your DMs. It’s our advice to you. Because sometimes, when you’re mindlessly managing the Instagram feed for a Swedish oat drink company, a legendary London rapper drops you a message about custard. Six months in the making—brilliant collabs take time—Giggs and Oatly are bringing cake and custard to the streets of London (and beyond). It’s a partnership born out of a mutual love for a classic dessert…and a shared inability to digest dairy. Check out more at Oatly.com/giggs.

Since we can’t just greenwish the climate to fix itself, policymakers need to act for stronger regulations to put people and the planet first. We know we’re repeating ourselves, but companies need to be held accountable and also, they say repetition is key in “message penetration”. Maybe Stéphane Séjourné, Jessika Roswall , Christoffer Hansen and Wopke Hoekstra agree with us and make sure it happens in the next mandate? At least, that’s our wish.

As you might know, we’re not a perfect company. However, we hold ourselves accountable for our impact on the planet, and we think the European Commission and its president, Ursula von der Leyen, should do the same. That’s why we wrote this very serious and formal letter with Ecosia, Natura, Patagonia, Tony's Chocolonely, and Triodos Bank, demanding frameworks that push innovation and ensure a fair green transition. We’re talking real policies prioritizing stuff like decarbonization, circularity, and sustainable food systems, all laid out in the global language of bureaucracy. If a more equitable and sustainable economy is something you’re on board with, maybe you would be inclined to repost this message until it reaches Ursula and her friends in the European Commission. But that’s totally up to you.

With a new school year upon us, Oatly salespeople keep saying that now is the time to “supercharge our oat-based product line” and “gain more traction in higher learning institutions.” We’re not 100% sure what that means—and we know salespeople work on commission—but we still thought it was a good enough case to send a film crew to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to have a look around and check in on the future leaders of the planet.

If you’ve ever found yourself wondering what a Mexican taqueria, a bike repair place, an Italian trattoria, an art magazine, and a Chinese canteen have in common – we are thrilled to tell you that you can quit wondering and learn that they were all part of the Oatly Paris pop-up in Le Marais where we served different versions of our Soft Serve with a new collaborator each week for five weeks straight. If you’ve also found yourself wondering what that might have looked like, we are also thrilled to tell you that you can find out by looking at the photos below. If you’ve also-also found yourself wondering if we’re going to end this caption with the words ”Thanks to everyone who came by!” we are here to tell you that you are absolutely right. Thanks to everyone who came by!

If you’re like no one ever, you’ve always wondered what a collaboration between Oatly and Malibu would look like. Well, your wonders are about to be un–wondered because Oatly and Malibu have come together to introduce what those trendy foodie blogs, and also history, will surely judge to be the “taste of summer”! It’s a soft serve we call Piña Oatlada and we call it that because it tastes like a piña colada but it has Oatly in it and when that happens, your naming choices are rather limited. Just in case you were wondering that too. Go to oatly.com/malibu to see where to find us this summer. Please don’t share or forward to anyone underage.

We’re not legally allowed to say that Big Dairy “brainwashes” people into eating and drinking more dairy. But if that was something we believed—and if we were legally allowed to say it—it'd probably explain why we showed up to their Capitol Hill Ice Cream Party with a "Dairy Deprogramming" truck and Oatly soft serve.
