🏠 Welcome to our new home in Sundsvall! 🏠 This innovative center brings Permobil’s operations closer together, improving both efficiency and collaboration capabilities. The construction sets a new standard for accessibility, with inclusive features designed together with wheelchair users. Further, a gold LEED certification has been awarded for the facility’s commitment to sustainability. Yesterday, at 07:15am Swedish time, our first power wheelchair rolled off the new production line! October is Disability Employment Awareness Month, and Patrik Wolff, Social Media & Project Manager, shares his journey to finding a job at Permobil: “As a power wheelchair user with some physical limitations, I knew finding a job after college would be a greater challenge than for my peers. Luckily, an internship at Permobil opened up, and I went from part-time consultant to full-time employee in 1 1/2 years. My colleagues have been amazing mentors, and I've learned so much. Over 1,000 attendees enjoyed a full day of activities, tech repair and clinical workshops, wheelchair rugby, and speeches from notable figures like Minister of Disabilities Louise Upston.
