Pryvx signs strategic partnership agreement with Telkomsel INDICO!   We are excited to share the news that Pryvx has signed a strategic partnership agreement with INDICO, the digital subsidiary of Telkomsel, Indonesia’s largest telecom operator. Together, we will enable secure and efficient data collaboration across industries in Indonesia. The timing of the partnership is important, as it aligns with the new Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law that went into effect on 17 Oct 2024. Dios Kurniawan, CTO at INDICO highlights: "By combining our expertise with Pryvx’s cutting-edge PET solutions, we are confident in our ability to address the challenges of data collaboration and unlock new opportunities for growth in Indonesia.” A big milestone for PryvX, but also an important milestone in advancing data privacy and protection. Fascinating insights from Telenor. Many of us are already aware of the increase of cybercrime, but what's particularly interesting here is the highlight on the attackers' creativities. Worth noting is that Telenor captures collaboration as a next approach to address this by establishing a new community that serves as a contact point with authorities and a hub for information sharing. Imagine what we can achieve together if we can collaborate deeper, even at the sensitive data level?

Similar problem mentioned by the banks and authority in Norway that we recently been in touch with. Delaying transactions are good start, but it comes with a cost. As an example, the cost to cover exchange rate fluctuation risk for international transactions. Today the Swedish Bank Association (Svenska Bankföreningen) presented new measures to increase our citizens' protection against fraud. This is after the recent highlights that the criminal profits for fraud in Sweden last year was as high as 7.5 billion SEK.❤️🩹 One of the mentioned solution is better collaboration between telecom- and banks. Had it gone undetected, this malware would have been bundled in upcoming Linux distributions, which power the majority of the world’s servers, potentially leading to widespread security compromises.
