Eivind Holt, Tech Lead at DIPS AS , recently shared his journey with the #TinyML community at #Imagine2024, diving deep into how synthetic data and tools like NVIDIA Omniverse are shaping healthcare technology – helping build more accurate models, saving hours of data capturing and labeling. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing - Eivind shared valuable lessons learned from test and error, offering valuable insights for those looking to explore similar technologies. Some key requirements for building next-gen sustainable healthcare wearables: - Non-intrusive sensors for patient comfort - Always connected with long battery life - Data accessibility for healthcare professionals In #healthcare, reliable wearables are critical - malfunctions can impact patient health. Extensive testing, either training models with Edge Impulse, or hardware development is needed to ensure accurate, and reliable systems. That’s where the Otii Product Suite helps. Eivind described it as his “favorite power profiler tool”, which lets him pinpoint power consumption down to each line of code.
