Om oss
The Industry Sweden AB specialises in the production and distribution of the MAGNUM, a Large Scale 3D printer. The MAGNUM is powered by eco-friendly granules, allowing for the creation of substantial prints (with a print volume exceeding 2 m3), all while maintaining a commitment to environmental preservation. We're revolutionising traditional manufacturing by utilising 3D printing to fabricate components directly from sustainable materials. Our primary offerings include the sale of the MAGNUM large-scale industrial 3D printer to industrial partners, as well as universities and institutions. Our printers are specifically designed to incorporate additives such as recycled plastics, biocomposites, and other resilient thermoplastics. We hold a firm belief in the concept of circularity within our society, and we actively contribute by providing a product that repurposes worn or used items into fresh, practical creations.

In today's world, Large Scale 3D printing offers a wide range of exciting applications, with many yet to be fully explored. Our partners at ReThink Factory AB have made a remarkable discovery: the production of drums is one such application that not only proves to be cost-efficient but also yields exceptional results. For anyone familiar with playing drums, achieving a consistent and solid sound on a drum set can be quite challenging. However, with advancements in 3D printing technology, there is potential to overcome these challenges and revolutionise the drum manufacturing process. Check the link below and hear the sound of a fully 3D printed drum set for yourself! #TheIndustrySweden #RethinkFactory #3DPrinting #Innovation #MAGNUM #Sustainability #additivemanufacturing #3DP #sweden
Till alla som undrar över soundet… ReThink Drums - 3D-printade trummor i återvunnet trämaterial… Det låter riktigt, riktigt bra! 🤩🙌🏻 ♻️🥁 Anders Köllerfors #MadeInVärnamo #RethinkMusic #MusicMeetsTechnology #SoundDesign https://lnkd.in/dfeHzDgc

Collaboration at its finest! Doubling the capacity is a substantial achievement, made even better by the accessibility of local support and service. We're excited to see the effects of incorporating not one, but two MAGNUM printers into local production within the Småland region! A big thank you to everyone involved! 🤝 #TheIndustrySweden #RethinkFactory #3DPrinting #Innovation #MAGNUM #Collaboration #Sustainability #additivemanufacturing #3DP #Dynamate #sweden

Throwback Thursday: "NorDan Window" Today, more and more companies, spanning from hypercar manufacturers to sustainable energy enterprises, are adapting large scale AM technology to streamline their production. However, what's intriguing is the growing involvement of companies in traditional industries in seeking alternative business approaches. What sets our clients apart is their innovative mindset and willingness to venture into uncharted territory. One particular project, which redefined the approach to production practices within a conventional industry, took place when we collaborated with NorDan. Our contribution led to the development of the first-ever 3D-printed window, produced on MAGNUM’s predecessor, The Box. Since then our technology has significantly improved: we’ve achieved an output of 12.5kg per hour, optimised MAGNUM to accommodate 1mm nozzles and, with some materials, we've even managed to print with a 75-degree overhang without requiring any support! Watch the video below to discover the process behind the NorDan Project and maybe you will be the next innovator of tomorrow! #TheIndustry #Sustainability #innovation #MAGNUM #3Dprinting #newtechnology #ExploreMore #materials #perfectfinish #Sweden #3Dprintedwindow #NorDan #NewTechnology #ProofOfConcept #LargeScaleAM #ThrowBackThursday

How do you post-process 3D prints? Reflecting on one of our favourite pieces from a couple of years back, we wanted to share with you our 3D printed rim that we use to showcase the post-processing journey of various products produced on MAGNUM. Step one involves printing the entire rim (in this case with the use of ABS material) in one session, establishing a solid foundation. Step two employs CNC machining to remove excess material, refining the rim's form. Step three focuses on filling in any remaining gaps or imperfections, ensuring a flawless finish. Lastly, step four applies a durable coating to enhance both protection and aesthetics. Over time, we fine-tuned MAGNUM to produce even higher quality prints that require even less post processing efforts. While this exact piece is not suitable for bearing car weight, visually it’s not any different from a regular car rim. The benefit lies in the fact that the identical post-processing procedure remains applicable across various industrial and creative projects, including sculpture making and prototyping, that in the end saves businesses significant time, money, and effort in achieving their desired outcomes. #TheIndustry #Sustainability #innovation #MAGNUM #3Dprinting #newtechnology #ExploreMore #materials #ABS #rim #perfectfinish #Sweden

Stockholm Furniture Week 2024 Let's take a moment to look back at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, where designers and industry insiders gathered together to showcase the latest trends and concepts in furniture and interior design. With its sleek minimalist designs and bold avant-garde pieces, the fair provided a visual delight, sparking peoples imaginations with new ideas and innovative craftsmanship. The experience was beyond pleasant, and The Industry couldn't be prouder of Ekbacken Studios and their phenomenal performance. What's even more thrilling? Their outstanding work got featured on SVT 2 news and even made it to Vogue Scandinavia! As the industry grows, you could clearly see that general public pays more attention to 3D printed furniture and it’s only a matter of time until it becomes even more common worldwide. These changes show that design is getting more creative and we cant wait to participate in bringing those future pieces to life. #3Dprinting #TheIndustry #MAGNUM #Stockholm #EkbackenStudios #StockholmFurnitureFare2024 #wood #woodenfurniture #additivemanufacturing #Sweden #innovation #Sulapac

Is 350kg enough?… Over the years, we've printed designs of all shapes and sizes, yet we've never pushed the boundaries of MAGNUM's full weight capacity. MAGNUM was specifically engineered to handle prints weighing up to 350kg but so far not a single customer came close to that number (the record is 220kg). But here's the question: is 350kg too little or too much? Share your thoughts with us! P.S. “Green Goddess by Charlie Davidson” - Full size 3D print using a plastic made from recycled fishing nets and wood fibre by a Sweden based artist of a UK origin. Material: Stora Enso 3d Ocean. Height 196.8 cm (Printed in 2 parts). #TheIndustry #Sustainability #innovation #MAGNUM #3Dprinting #newtechnology #newachievement #ExploreMore #sustinablematerials #sweden
