🌟 Exciting Announcement 🌟 In celebration of Disability Employment Awareness Month #DEAM and in partnership with Disability:IN, we’re thrilled to release our new report spotlighting global leaders in #DisabilityInclusion transparency. As organizations strive to reflect the communities they serve, sharing data on disability inclusion has never been more critical. In a survey by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), 25% of respondents reported having a disability or health condition that limits a major life activity — a statistic that mirrors the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s findings that 27% of U.S. adults have some type of disability. Yet, transparency remains a challenge. To help drive change, we’re unveiling The Disability Transparency Tiles 2024, which recognizes 45 organizations leading the way in reporting disability representation and inclusion across six key criteria. 💡 Congratulations to the Top 10 Leaders: 1. Did someone say "DEI Backlash"? While headlines might focus on companies pulling back on DEI efforts, the reality is that they’re the exception, not the rule. This week, our leadership team is in Orlando for what was meant to be the annual Out & Equal Workplace Summit at The Walt Disney Company. Although Storm Milton disrupted plans for thousands of inspiring professionals to gather in person, the spirit and strength of this community remain unshaken. Commitment to DEI remains strong. Partnerships like ours with Out & Equal and the incredible work being done by Disability:IN and others is living proof that DEI is not just a checkbox—it’s a core value driving meaningful change. The headlines about rollbacks are just that: headlines. In reality, most organizations continue to move forward, empowered by diverse and inclusive communities.
