How can open source software help vehicle OEMs drive innovation and collaboration?      With OSS, automakers can tackle industry-wide challenges more efficiently, prioritize brand-specific services, and significantly reduce vendor lock-in—particularly for software-defined vehicles.      Collaboration is the way forward, as seen in the rise of alliances, research funding initiatives, and joint ventures across the automotive sector. Open source software is at the heart of this shift. It offers major opportunities but also requires new approaches to compliance and co-development.      Our latest WirelessCar Insights blog article by Christina Rux is the first of a two-part series on open source software.      🔹 What does OSS mean for automakers pursuing SDVs?   🔹 How can we collaborate effectively while maximizing efficiency and creativity?      Read the full article – and learn more about our new solution unit, Open SDV Platform!  ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dQ662j_K    Want to dive deeper? Join us at VECS on March 19, where Christina Rux and Johan Thelin will discuss WirelessCar’s approach to open source software and its impact on the future of SDVs.    We're also a sponsor at foss-north (April 14–15), where we'll continue the conversation on open source and its role in automotive.     #WeAreWirelessCar #OpenSource #Innovation #SDV

  • “The demand for tech talent is growing continuously and yet women remain hugely underrepresented in STEM* education. If we want to secure the future of innovation, we need more young women choosing tech.” — Anna Gunlycke, Head of People & Talent Growth at WirelessCar Diversity fuels innovation: Scientific studies show that diverse teams drive higher levels of innovation and better team success—companies, industries, and economies benefit when more women enter tech. These studies show that companies with diverse workforces are 45% more likely to report market share growth and 70% more likely to capture new markets.** The demand is real: According to TechSverige, Sweden alone needs 100,000 more tech professionals by 2030—we can’t afford to ignore this untapped talent pool of women, who are underrepresented today within STEM education. At WirelessCar, we’re committed to making real impact. One way we work on increased diversity is through our Rising Stars trainee program in collaboration with New Minds, where the ambition for 2025 is 50/50 gender diversity. Another important focus for us is strengthening tech networks for women, including groups such as Women Automotive Network, Women In Tech Sweden, and our internal network Women at WirelessCar. This is our commitment to diversity, and to innovation! This International Women’s Day, we see both the challenges and the amazing opportunities ahead. Encouraging more women into STEM careers isn’t just about equality—it’s a chance to unleash the hidden potential in tech. The future of tech depends on diversity, innovation, and collaboration. Let’s continue this journey together. *STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics                                            **How Diversity Can Drive Innovation, Harvard Business Review #WeAreWirelessCar#IWD #WomenInTech #STEMEducation #FutureTalent #DiversityInTech #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction
