How can open source software help vehicle OEMs drive innovation and collaboration?      With OSS, automakers can tackle industry-wide challenges more efficiently, prioritize brand-specific services, and significantly reduce vendor lock-in—particularly for software-defined vehicles.      Collaboration is the way forward, as seen in the rise of alliances, research funding initiatives, and joint ventures across the automotive sector. Open source software is at the heart of this shift.
