Matthias L. will be speaking at Stockholm Tech Show 2025! Matthias is a cybersecurity specialist with nearly 20 years of IT experience. From developer and DevSecOps to sysadmin, he’s worn many hats but has always had a focus on security. Now, as the founder of Lysells Security and Tech AB, he’s on a mission to help companies strengthen their defense strategies against today’s cyber threats. Here’s a glimpse into Matthias' thoughts ahead of his session: 💡 What keeps him up at night? "AI and ransomware. AI is an incredible tool, but it’s not perfect. The danger lies in blindly trusting AI-generated code without thoroughly reviewing it, which can introduce serious security vulnerabilities. Ransomware, of course, is another constant threat. The damage it can cause in such a short time is frightening. We must stay vigilant and continually evolve our defense mechanisms." 🔍 What will he speak about at the event? "I’ll be focusing on cybersecurity and the major challenges that companies and organizations face today. From new compliance frameworks like DORA and NIS2 to emerging security technologies, I’ll explore how businesses can better protect their environments and stay ahead of cyber threats." 🎤 What inspires him? "I’m inspired by the resilience of people working in security. It’s a field full of constant challenges, but those who keep going, educating, and defending systems every day are the real heroes. I’m also deeply influenced by thought leaders like David Jacoby, Alexander 'STÖK' Alexandersson, and Mikko Hyppönen for their passion and knowledge in spreading cybersecurity awareness."
