Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the best games of 2023, and we haven't really seen it go on sale so far. That all changes today, because the game has a $15 discount down from $70 to $55. Jedi: Survivor carries on the story of Cal Kestis following the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and it brings more planets, new enemies, and fresh customization options into the fold. If you've been waiting for that first discount, now is the time to buy Jedi Survivor.

Big Video Game Sale at Best Buy

If you want to save on a handful of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch games, today is a great day to do that. There are several fantastic games on sale at Best Buy today, including a number of discounts that expire after today. You can grab great PlayStation exclusives like The Last of Us Part II and Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. Spider-Man is a great choice because it includes both Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man: Remastered so you can catch up on the whole story so far before Spider-Man 2 releases this October.

In Nintendo Switch land, you can save a few dollars on best sellers like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. These best-selling games also happen to be some of the best games ever made, so if you're missing any of these in your collection, you can scoop them up today.

And don't overlook Wild Hearts, which is a fantastic time if you're a fan of the Monster Hunter series. Wild Hearts fuses building mechanics with the classic hunting loop, and it's also hard as heck. I played through the main story earlier this year and really enjoyed it.

Preorder Nintendo Direct First-Party Games

We got a pretty great Nintendo Direct last month, featuring a ton of new first-party Nintendo Switch games that already have release dates for 2023. You can preorder all of these games right now, including new 2D platformer Super Mario Bros. Wonder, a remake of Super Mario RPG, WarioWare Move It, Pikmin 4, the physical edition of Pikmin 1 + 2, Detective Pikachu Returns, and Everybody 1-2-Switch. It's a pretty great first-party lineup for a console in it's seventh full year, and I personally can't wait for the pair of Mario titles coming at the end of the year.

Save on Two of Rockstar's Best Games Ever

Both Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V are on sale today at Best Buy. These are two of the greatest open world games ever made, and while the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 could still be a long one, these two games have more than enough content to tide you over. I'm playing through Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time right now, and I'm pretty blown away by its attention to detail, exploration, and organic discovery. I'm finding it to be a great followup to Tears of the Kingdom, which I was worried would make every other game look not as appealing after finishing. But Red Dead 2 is keeping the good times rolling, and I really recommend it.
