  • 🌟 We are excited to share the remarkable results achieved at SJI International School in advancing sustainability and energy efficiency! 𝗦𝘁. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵'𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗦𝗝𝗜) 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, a key member of Singapore’s Lasallian Catholic community, is home to 2,200 students and staff. With an annual energy consumption of 2,158,000 kWh, the school has been taking crucial steps toward reducing its environmental footprint through a focused approach to energy optimization. In alignment with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, the school took decisive steps to optimize one of the most impactful areas in energy saving: its 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗩𝗔𝗖 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, which account for a significant portion of energy use. Working closely with the facilities department, we achieved: ✅ 𝟮𝟬% 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: A significant reduction in energy consumption, contributing to long-term sustainability goals. ✅ 𝟮.𝟵-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱: A swift return on investment, proving the financial viability of sustainable practices. ✅ 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: All improvements were made with minimal disruption, ensuring students and staff remained perfectly comfortable throughout the process. Moving forward, this initiative is part of a growing movement toward greener educational spaces. As energy efficiency becomes increasingly critical in Singapore’s efforts to decarbonize, schools like SJI International are setting the standard for what’s possible. Together, we are proud to be building a more sustainable future, one building at a time. 🌱 #Sustainability #EnergyEfficiency #GreenBuildings #HVAC #Singapore #SGGreenPlan

With mandatory ESG reporting coming to Singapore and Hong Kong in 2025/2026, SMEs need to act now rather than play catch-up later. With customers in the US, UK, and Australia asking for sustainability data, SMEs in Singapore and Hong Kong are feeling the pressure too A recent Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association survey found that 85% of SMEs believe good ESG practices build trust and brand value. Yet, nearly half haven’t started due to a lack of resources or expertise. Forward-thinking SME leaders are turning this challenge into opportunity by starting now. Early adopters gain competitive advantage while building resilience for tomorrow's regulatory landscape. Read the full article here 👇

  • Our team at ACwise recently attended the Singapore Green Building Council - OCBC Built Environment Decarbonisation Challenge Information Session. It was a great opportunity to engage with industry professionals who are just as committed to advancing sustainability in the built environment. One of the key discussions that stood out was the role of regenerative design in reducing carbon emissions, with real-world applications in projects like Clarke Quay and Bird Paradise. Seeing these concepts translated into tangible outcomes reinforces the importance of continuous innovation in our industry. These conversations reinforce our commitment at ACwise to developing innovative HVAC efficiency solutions that support Singapore's decarbonization goals. We're looking forward to applying these insights as we continue partnering with forward-thinking organizations ready to transform their energy footprint.

  • 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝘅: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 Thailand has taken a significant step toward its sustainability goals with the cabinet’s approval of a 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝗮𝗵𝘁 ($𝟱.𝟴𝟴) 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘅, integrated into the existing oil tax framework. This policy reinforces Thailand’s ambitious climate targets, carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero emissions by 2065. But is this just the beginning? Right now, the tax is focused on fuel-based emissions. However, global trends suggest that carbon pricing often expands to other high-energy-consuming sectors. Industries relying on inefficient HVAC systems, especially commercial buildings and factories, could face rising operational costs as governments push for deeper emissions reductions. For businesses, the key questions are: 🔹 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? 🔹 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱? What do you think? Could this be the start of broader carbon pricing in Thailand? #Sustainability #CarbonTax #EnergyEfficiency #Thailand #HVAC
