We are exploring the latest #technologies to onboard #merchants and #brands onto our platform. We have joined the #Trailblazer program to explore using #Gemini #LLM to ingest PDFs and URLs and turn them into #knowledge bases to power #virtualassistants in our world of #games and #ecommerce.

Our talented interns have been hard at work on the World of Malls (WoM) project, and it was thrilling to see them engage in a wonderful discussion about their work with the Minister. A huge thank you to the Minister and his team for taking the time to drop by our mini booth. We appreciate the support and interest in our project! It’s been an interesting week. Had calls with multiple brands and a common theme we get are these points: 1- is alteredverse a e-commerce platform like Amazon or Shopee? (A) no we are not. We are a 3D mobile application that will support AR & VR at a later stage. Users come to our world to have fun while discovering new products. These products may have in world benefits. 2- merchants appear to favor entertainment and engagement towards users. (A) entertainment and social is key and the only way for user retention. We do not operate at a transactional level and focus more on brand story telling and experience. 3- what does a merchant need to provide and what do they get in return (A) currently we are in early stages and look toward merchant and retail partners for in-kind sponsorships through a LOI. In return, we will digitize physical store and SKUs. For deeper interactions that need advance customer engagements, we will develop tailored features at cost. Later stage as we have more data points, we will implement a more sustainable business model. 4- Does the platform support payments and delivery? (A) We have integrated Shopify check out for direct purchases. We currently do not support delivery and we will let merchants handle that portion for now. We encourage users to pick the products directly at the merchant store, where applicable. The pictures below are from #Muji. They have creatively turned their products into an incredible art show.
