ASIS International (Singapore Chapter) is a member of Region 13B which also includes Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. There are close to 300 members of ASIS International in Singapore. The Chapter actively promotes the certification of security professionals through the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) programmes. Other activities include networking events, field visits to well known facilities/organisations, lecture series by industry experts and evening seminars. The Chapter is run by a Management Committee of 12 members who are elected every two years. ASIS International, with about 35,000 members worldwide, is the pre-eminent organization for security professionals. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. In addition, corporate executives and other management personnel, as well as consultants, architects, attorneys, and federal, state and local law enforcement, are becoming involved with ASIS to better understand the constant changes in security issues and solutions. ASIS is dedicated to increase the effectiveness and productivity of security practices by developing educational programmes and materials that address broad security concerns.

Sometimes back Daimler Truck South East Asia hosted our student members in their Singapore office to brief them about corporate security and internship program. The visit provided students with valuable insights into the security industry, allowing them to explore potential career pathways and sign up for student internship programs. This event aimed to strengthen the connection between academic institutions and the security industry, helping students apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
