The Year 4’s at Astor International School dove into the fascinating world of the three states of matter in their IPC unit, ‘Shake It!’. 🌬️💧❄️ 💧 Experiment 1: From liquid water to solid ice and then gas. Our students observed the magic of water changing states through freezing and boiling. 🔍 🍦 Experiment 2: Turning liquid milk into solid butter by shaking it in a jar. Tasty science on toast! 🥛➡️🧈 🍦Experiment 3: Homemade ice cream! Shaking a milk mixture in ice and salt created delicious vanilla ice cream. A yummy lesson in states of matter! 🍨 🥥 Experiment 4: From solid coconut flesh to liquid coconut milk.
