🇧🇷 Bearman’s bonus weekend in Brazil! Ollie stepped back into the Formula 1 spotlight again this past weekend in São Paulo for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Showing his skill, focus and adaptability once more for his F1 team next year, Ollie was in for an ill Kevin Magnussen at MoneyGram Haas F1 Team. From a single practice session on a new track surface to an intense, rain soaked qualifying, Ollie gave another great performance on his road to a full Formula 1 season in 2025. 🚨 Breaking News: Bearman in Brazil 🚨 Not once, not twice but now for a third time in just one season, Ollie has been called in to F1 action ahead of his debut season with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team next year. A late replacement for Kevin Magnussen who is suffering with sickness, Ollie will participate in today’s practice session before qualifying and participating in Saturday’s Sprint Race at the famous Interlagos circuit in Brazil. It is unclear at this stage whether Ollie will be required to deputise for Magnussen for Sunday’s Grand Prix race but stay tuned to Sky Sports F1 over the weekend to watch all the action. 📣 Today we’re at the London Insurance Life & Visionpath Apprenticeship Discovery Day Careers Festival at Lloyd’s.   In partnership with the London Market Group, the festival ends a week where the EC3 re/insurance community hosted its second Apprenticeship Discovery Programme, with London market firms promoting specialty insurance as a destination career to over 70 students. Importantly, this programme opens doors for young people from backgrounds that may have never considered insurance as a career path or even thought that it was within reach. Throughout the week, students have taken part in exercises such as live case studies and mock assessments mentored by London Market volunteers including Aventum’s Lauren Brincat and Jeff Uden. The Programme continues the momentum of the LMG’s summer Futures Academy and aims to build the profile of specialty insurance as a positive career choice for young people – we’re delighted to be involved, and we look forward to seeing them progress their future careers in the market. Next week, on Friday 1 November, we’re taking part in the Apprenticeship Discovery Day Careers Festival at Lloyd’s.   Organised by the London Market Group, the festival ends a week where the EC3 re/insurance community host its second Apprenticeship Discovery programme, with London market firms promoting specialty insurance as a destination career to over 70 students, over three days of market activities.   🎓 The initiative aims to build the profile of specialty insurance as a positive career choice for young people at a pivotal time in their lives, when they are thinking about entry level roles or apprenticeships. Importantly, this programme opens doors for young people from backgrounds that may have never considered insurance as a career path or even thought that it was within reach. The long-term goal is to shift the age profile of the London Market, where more workers are currently aged over fifty than under thirty. The Programme continues the momentum of the LMG’s summer Futures Academy and we are excited to be part of it.   Most people don’t exactly dream of working in insurance, but the ones that find themselves here? Well, they rarely want to leave - at least, at Aventum! 🤭   So, if you think insurance is boring, think again.
