Are you asking the real questions to get the real answers? If not, your decision-making might be stuck at "good" rather than reaching "fantastic." Take our example of Catherine—she realized the power of making people comfortable with productive conflict dialogue. This approach not only surfaces the underlying issues but also improves decision-making by incorporating diverse opinions. Here’s why it works: - Creates Openness: Everyone’s voice is heard. - Faces Conflict: Embracing conflict as a growth tool leads to stronger decisions. - Improves Team Environment: Encourages a culture where ideas are shared freely. Building an open team environment where conflict is seen as a pathway to growth will lead to more informed and confident decisions. Are you ready to elevate your decision-making process? Let's talk about strategies that can help. #PersonalGrowth #DecisionMaking

Let's talk about something we often shy away from: conflict in teams. But what if I told you that conflict could be productive? By setting up a framework for healthy conflicts, we create an environment where everyone knows the rules of engagement. Here's how: - Establish Guidelines: Define what's allowed and what's not. - Assign a Referee: Determine who will mediate when tensions rise. Once these steps are in place, teams can navigate disagreements more effectively, ensuring growth and collaboration. Remember, it's about peeling back the layers of misunderstanding, much like an onion. #Teamwork #ConflictResolution #Leadership

Ever thought about personal growth as peeling an onion? Here’s an intriguing perspective: just like onions, we have outer layers we need to peel away to reach our core. These layers might be: - Informational Layers: "I didn't know this" or "this is how I think about it." These perspectives can hold us back if not challenged. - Environmental Layers: Perhaps the space or office politics have been barriers to your success. Recognizing these is the first step to overcoming them. - Relationship Layers: Conflicts often have multiple sides. Understanding both opinions can lead to resolution and growth. By peeling these layers back, you can get to the root of what holds you back and move forward with confidence. #PersonalGrowth #SelfImprovement

Want to know the key to building strong teams? It’s simple: trust and dependency. Instead of holding people accountable to results, focus on making them accountable to each other. (Here’s why it works) When team members trust and rely on each other, they form stronger bonds. They stop working just for the outcome and start working for each other. In my experience, team members often connect better with each other than with the leader. So I use that to my advantage. The result? A team that’s stronger, more collaborative, and more connected. Before trying to resolve any conflict in your team, establish a base level of trust. It might sound like a strange conversation to have, but, it's essential: Remember Marshall and Lily from HIMYM? They have a 'Pause' button on their fights. They established the rules of engagement clearly and it allowed them to have constructive conflict. Here's how to replicate that for your startup. 1. Gather your team in a room and discuss how each member approaches conflict. 2. Encourage open dialogue by asking, "How do you like your conflict? (I know, it's weird..). Note down the preferences of each individual 3. Set ground rules as a team, based on the individual preferences. By doing this, you create a framework for productive conflict. Once your team becomes comfortable with expressing themselves, you'll notice the positive shift in dynamics. They no longer have to hold back their feelings and thoughts, which can lead to a more harmonious and effective team environment. Feeling discomfort in team settings is inevitable, and that’s okay! In fact, the best teams often experience discomfort. Why? Because they're focused on achieving the best outcomes. When you find yourself at odds with colleagues, remember to focus on the result rather than the process. It's not about what someone did or how they did it. It's about where you're heading together. This perspective shift not only reduces conflict but promotes a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. How do you handle discomfort in your teams? Mistakes are inevitable. But here’s the secret: embrace them. Instead of punishing your team for the mistakes they make, focus on what really matters—the lessons learned. Each mistake is a stepping stone. (Just not the same one twice) With an optimistic mindset, you move forward stronger. You’ll make more mistakes, sure—but not the same ones. This approach will take you and your team further than any reprimand ever could. How do you handle mistakes in your team? Let’s talk👇 Check out the full Dream 100 Biz Show podcast with Savitha Hosamane☘️ 📺 YouTube: https://lnkd.in/g8ASXk73 🎵 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gbEzzuMB Apple Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gmhusdUf #Leadership #GrowthMindset #Teamwork

Let's talk about trust. To resolve conflicts productively, teams need vulnerability-based trust. But how do we build it? Try this: Host an open discussion where team members can share their thoughts and feelings about conflict. This exercise not only encourages vulnerability but also opens the door to greater trust and collaboration. Good ideas need a bit of tension to thrive—but it's all about balance. When handled well, crossing the line occasionally can actually strengthen team bonds. Who's ready to foster a more trusting team environment? #TeamDynamics #LeadershipDevelopment
