One of the key values that helps propel our growth was the continuing focus on building an engaged workforce. Our senior leaders and HR business partner Adeline Tong came together a week ago to help shaped and finalized our Employee strategy (first picture). We want to focus our strategy based on four pillars which are #supportive , #accountability , #flexible and #empowerment . In short, we name this strategy - S.A.F.E. With this strategy in place, we are excited to announce that from 1st Oct 2022, confirmed employees from CSI offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia will start 4.5 days work week. This means our employees will stop work every Friday afternoon so that they can spend time picking up a new hobby, accompany their children, spend time with family or friends, attend classes to improve themselves, start a exercise routine or running errands that they normally cannot do (second picture). Our employee strategy will help guide all in the company to focus on what we thought was the inevitable way to work moving forward; by switching the focus to complete tasks that helps to fulfill work objectives. This will allow employees to be more empowered to plan their schedules and have more accountability for themselves. The company on the other hand will continue to be supportive and providing greater flexibility to employees for them to exercise their own judgement to complete their tasks. This is part of innovation we are doing on a daily basis. This is what we want to be more people focus. This is what we want to our employees to be engaged during work and given more time to do what they enjoy after work. Ultimately, there should be life after work.
