Meet Ann Chen, Product Manager Director for theat FICO Scores B2B Marketing team. Although she’s relatively new to FICO, Ann has quickly come to appreciate her team’s expertise and openness. “With my background in financial services, I thought I knew a lot about credit. However, FICO’s depth in analytics and innovation has truly exceeded my expectations. Participating in major FICO events has deepened my respect for the team and what we deliver to our customers.” Ann connects deeply with the core value “Act Like an Owner.” She explains: “Whether it’s supporting a colleague or presenting to executives, I strive to give my best. The flexibility of remote work has been invaluable for me as a mom, allowing me to balance family needs while meeting professional deadlines and maintaining high standards.” For those aspiring to succeed, Ann advises: “Engage in projects that add value beyond your role and seek opportunities to connect with others. Own your personal brand and communicate your aspirations clearly. Giving back and building a support network are essential for career growth. Every great leader has a strong support system, so build yours and support others in return.” To learn more about FICO opportunities, visit: https://lnkd.in/epE8r72 #FICOVoices

AI is transforming the insurance industry, but what separates those using it successfully from those who struggle? According to Darran Simons, Head of Insurance EMEA at FICO, even industry leaders face challenges in responsibly and effectively operationalizing AI. Key takeaways: ✅ Transparency & Explainability – Understanding AI models is crucial for trust and compliance. ✅ No Silver Bullet – Generative AI is powerful, but success comes from a composite approach blending multiple techniques. ✅ Operational Agility – The best results come when data science and business teams collaborate, driving insights and speed. Meet Hugh Allyn, Director of Demand Generation based in FICO’s San Diego office. Hugh is on the marketing team and is responsible for supporting FICO’s partners and alliances. Over the last decade, Hugh shares how proud he is to witness FICO’s software business continually evolve from a set of discrete applications to an end-to-end decision platform. Due to the transformation of the software business, a formal partners and alliances program was built to support specific industries. Hugh’s advice for aspiring professionals is to “be the best communicator possible, especially when giving any sort of presentation. Most people think they’re better presenters than they actually are, and therefore they don’t rehearse or put enough effort into their slides/material, etc. You should always rehearse what you’re going to say until you can spend the entire presentation looking at your audience without having to look at your slides or at your notes.” Hugh spends most of his time either keeping his dog Penelope happy or being tortured by the terrible sports teams he likes.
