Every Grobrix wall is a conversation. Because at the core of Grobrix lies our strong belief in a future where urban communities have a closer relationship with their food, and urban farming is enjoyed by all as a lifestyle endeavour to nourish the body, the mind and the soul. That’s why our mission remains an unwavering commitment to encourage, enthuse, empower and educate urban communities to live more sustainable, self-sufficient, healthier and happier lives. There’s power when more people take part. That is what we aspire to unleash. Because it’s not always about the big undertakings led by a few. Change emerges  from small, creative acts taken by many. It’s the small actions, the unassuming beginnings, and the quiet revolutions that shape the course of history. So, in a world waiting for change, believe in being the change. Grobrix. Seed Change. "Singapore’s ambitious “30 by 30” goal is more than just a numerical target; it embodies a visionary journey towards a future characterised by resilience, sustainability, and food security for our future generations. Achieving this goal requires coordinated efforts across diverse sectors, and education will continue to be a crucial catalyst on this journey." – Founder, Mathew Howe The Grobrix movement is driven through education and #advocacy, to promote a more sustainable way of living. A huge part of our work with corporates and their employees is centered around #education: teaching and encouraging sustainable practices, raising awareness about the complexities of the food supply chain, and empowering people to grow and care for their own food. We believe that when people understand the potential impact of their actions - such as opting for locally-grown produce - it becomes easier to unite everyone around a shared goal. These conversations are essential for driving meaningful change and building a more sustainable future together. Read Mathew’s article in the latest issue of Asia Food Journal Magazine (pages 54–57) https://lnkd.in/gJ52vfbH where he discusses the crucial role of urban farming in achieving a more sustainable and secure food future. #UrbanFarming #Sustainability #FoodSecurity #30by30 #Grobrix #GreenCities

Read in The Straits Times why Grobrix’s founder Mathew Howe left banking to start up an urban farming business, and how he is greening innovative workplaces across Singapore. Because Grobrix isn’t your typical urban farming company—our business concept differs from large-scale farms that supply produce to supermarkets. Mathew explains in the Straits Times’ 'Starting a Start Up' column in what makes it unique. https://lnkd.in/gibSBvYn Grobrix was born with a vision to emulate a time when communities grew food together, supported one another, and fostered self-sufficiency. As Mathew says, “We don’t sell produce. We sell a service that empowers the community to grow their own food. Food is a focus of the service that we’re providing because we believe that our produce has a way of bringing people together." Grobrix is a lifestyle service designed to help organisations build this sense of community, offering a unique way for people to bond through harvesting and enjoying produce grown on site. Today, our farming walls can be found in over 60 locations, with clients including KPMG, LinkedIn, Marina Bay Sands, C&W Services Singapore and Nexus International School (Singapore). Think salads are boring? Not with us! 😉🥗 #AugustThrowback We had an amazing Farm-to-Table Salad Lunch with one of our first-ever clients— Mediacorp Pte Ltd, three years and counting! We dived into the world of salads, showcasing their benefits and sharing tips on how to up your salad game! Their staff became urban farmers for the afternoon, harvesting and enjoying the crisp veggies straight from the office Grobrix farm wall. Along with the condiment bar prepped by the Mediacorp team? Simply delicious! It was a healthy and, most importantly, fun time. Looking forward to #growingtogether with Mediacorp for many more years to come. 🌱💚 Lena Toh Isabel Yoong Angeline Liew, Mediacorp S Mageswari Gareth Tarbard Grace Chan #Grobrix #Mediacorp #ESG #UrbanFarming #Sustainability #FarmToTable #WorkplaceWellness

Grower | Builder | Starter | Scaler at Grobrix

Two years ago, Grobrix was just a team of four dreamy individuals. We did everything together, from marketing to sales, procurement to operation, accounting to staffing. Once a small entity is known to only a few, our company has become a significant force. The growth in our team, as evident from two team photos taken two years apart, is a testament of our collective growth journey and visionary tagline. #growingtogether Whether personal or organizational development, growing together matters because it is how we can improve ourselves and the places we all work or live. It is a metaphor that resonates with why we are doing what we are doing— growing crops at your place rather than ours so everyone can grow together, fostering a closer relationship with our food. 🌱 It constantly reminds us of the importance of growth because we will all cease to exist if we stop growing. 🤝 We warmly welcome those who have recently joined our team and movement. Your belief in us and your decision to join us is a testament to our shared vision. With your support, we are confident in our ability to overcome any challenges that lie ahead. 👐 It has also been an emotional period for those who have parted ways with our team due to very different circumstances. Without you all, we would not be where we are now. Thank you for paving the way with us. Your work has continuous rippling effects until today.

A Tribute on Teacher's Day! 📚 Grobrix believes education is the foundation for a sustainable future. Just as teachers nurture and shape young minds with knowledge and values, we strive to do the same through the Grobrix #movement, educating and advocating a more conscious, connected and sustainable way of growing and eating food. We draw inspiration from the role educators play in fostering curiosity and encouraging exploration, much like Nexus International School (Singapore). By integrating sustainability into its core values and creating hands-on learning experiences, the school actively encourages both parents and students to embrace sustainable practices. Every lesson in sustainability—whether taught in a classroom or experienced firsthand in their Eco Café—helps build a more resilient and connected community. On this Teacher's Day, let’s celebrate all educators who plant the seeds of knowledge and inspire us to #GrowTogether towards a more sustainable tomorrow! 🌱💚 #TeachersDay #Sustainability #UrbanFarming #Education #Grobrix #GrowingTogether

There is no doubt that the business and regulatory environment in Singapore and beyond is shifting towards a low-carbon future. Digitalisation and sustainability are key growth areas, driving unprecedented demand for green jobs. Our office manager, Joe Ferry, exemplifies how #upskilling can lead to a fulfilling career in sustainability. During the pandemic, concerned about potential layoffs, Joe decided to pivot his career towards something he was passionate about: sustainability, energy management, and urban farming. He took a leap of faith by enrolling in the six-month Digital Agritech Operation Manager course at NTUC LearningHub, which paved the way for his current role with us. At Grobrix, we believe in the power of passion and commitment to sustainability over traditional technical skills. Our team includes individuals from a variety of professional backgrounds—ranging from an Elephant Zoo Keeper, a Chocolate Maker, and a Software Robot Salesperson—each bringing their distinctive experiences to our mission. If you're passionate about encouraging and #empowering urban communities to live more sustainable, self-sufficient, happier, and healthier lives, come join our team!
