Mentorship is more than a concept—it's a hands-on skill that drives personal and professional growth. We had the privilege to collaborate with Daimler Truck South East Asia for their "The Art of Mentoring" program, designed with one clear objective: to equip mentors with the practical skills they need to build a new culture where they guide their talents and support their growth. 🌟 Why Mentoring Skills Matter: In today’s dynamic work environment, effective mentorship isn’t just about offering advice—it’s about providing the tools, strategies, and support that mentees need to thrive. This program was crafted to ensure that mentors at Daimler are fully prepared to guide their mentees toward success. 📚 Program Highlights: Hands-On Learning: The workshop was packed with interactive sessions where mentors practiced real-world scenarios, such as active listening, providing constructive feedback, and setting actionable goals. Expert Facilitation: Led by Danny Tong, the training emphasized practical techniques that mentors can immediately apply, from using the #GROW model for structured mentoring sessions to mastering the art of impactful communication. Learning Aids: Each participant received a detailed workbook filled with tools and exercises designed to reinforce key concepts and provide ongoing support after the workshop. We crafted scripts to help them kickstart the conversation and co-facilitate a comprehensive list of questions using the GROW model as an added resource should they need a booster. 📸 By the end of the program, mentors didn’t just understand the theory—they had practiced and honed the skills necessary to drive real change through roleplays. From managing mentoring sessions effectively to building strong, trust-based relationships, these mentors are now equipped to elevate their mentees to new heights. This workshop underscores Daimler Truck's commitment to continuous improvement and leadership development. Here’s to shaping the future, one mentoring session at a time. 🙌 "Danny is a great facilitator and right energy level.
