The session also included a live demonstration of the building’s digital twin, highlighting Keppel Bay Tower’s real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and energy optimisation—demonstrating our commitment to smarter, greener buildings.   During the session, Jason Chua from Keppel REIT also highlighted the REIT's track record and its commitment to delivering stable income and driving sustainable long-term returns to its Unitholders through disciplined investment and proactive asset management strategies. He also shared how Keppel REIT enhances its asset values and advances its sustainability goals. • Last week, our Head of Sustainability and Director of Sustainable Urban Renewal (SUR), Szue Hann TAN, MBA, MArch, was invited as a panelist on the annual Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA) Singapore Conference, for the panel discussion “Navigating the digital frontier with ESG integration”, moderated by Bertrand JABOULEY of S&P Global Ratings.   Sharing on Keppel’s integration of technology with ESG, Hann spoke on the adoption of digital tools in Keppel’s real estate pursuits across our funds and assets. - On the environmental front, digital technologies are adopted in the monitoring and optimisation of assets for higher performance efficiencies and healthy investment returns, referencing the INNO88 Tower, a SUR flagship project, in Seoul. - On the social front, enabling a healthy environment for tenants is performed through the sensing and optimisation of indoor environmental quality, and building social capital through building-wide events, with Keppel Bay Tower as a success story. - On the governance aspect, a Keppel-wide dashboard is employed for the reporting and monitoring of energy and water consumption, which also aids in the reporting of Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions for our real estate fund portfolios.   APREA (www.aprea.asia) is the Asia Pacific Real Assets Association, a leading voice and think tank in the industry, championing value creation in real estate in the region. Keppel has been a keen supporter of APREA, and Hann also sits on the association’s Regional ESG Board.

  • Keppel Spreads Festive Cheer with MYMCA Christmas Deliveries!    This holiday season, Keppel proudly partnered with the Metropolitan YMCA Singapore M.Y Blessings programme to bring festive cheer to underprivileged families. On Saturday morning, 7 December 2024, Louis Lim, CEO, Real Estate, Keppel, led a dedicated team of 36 OneKeppel Volunteers in delivering festive goodie bags to 56 households. Over the course of three to four hours, our volunteers delivered over 160 goodie bags containing food rations, groceries, and items such as supermarket vouchers and umbrellas sponsored by Keppel. The heartfelt smiles and warm greetings from the recipients were truly rewarding, making our efforts all the more meaningful.  Throughout the experience, we gained valuable insights into enhancing delivery efficiency—such as calling recipients ahead of time and extending extra care and patience, especially when engaging with elderly recipients.  We are also honoured that our ongoing contributions to MYMCA were recognised with the 2024 Best Volunteer Award in the Corporate Category. Szue Hann TAN, MBA, MArch, Head of Sustainability and Sustainable Urban Renewal (SUR) Solutions at Keppel’s Real Estate Division, received this prestigious award on behalf of Keppel Real Estate Division on 28 November.  A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing volunteers for giving their time and energy to brighten lives and spread joy in our community. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a season of giving!

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of King’s Dock Park, jointly developed by Mapletree and Keppel. This will contribute towards the vision of a City in Nature, a key pillar of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. At an event held on 26 November to commemorate this milestone, graced by our Guest of Honour, Ms Rachel Ong, Member of Parliament for West Coast GRC (Telok Blangah Division) and Adviser to West Coast GRC Grassroots Organisations, we celebrated the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. King’s Dock Park is envisioned as a tranquil green space where nature and community come together in a unique waterfront setting. We look forward to welcoming visitors when it officially opens next year. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting project.
