At KMGN, we constantly review our role and purpose to ensure we remain relevant to our members. This process unearths new areas of potential or challenges within the KM industry. One such area is Creative Commons as Strategy – Principles of Knowledge Sharing. We aim to utilise Creative Commons licensing to facilitate open sharing and collaboration while explicitly respecting ownership and credits for creating content. KMGN wishes to be clear that the usual legal status for co-creation will be CC-BY. This Creative Commons Attribution license allows re-distribution and re-use of a licensed work on the condition that the creator is appropriately credited.
