Today stc Bahrain announced the launch of Intersect, a new Avalanche L1 that creates a pivotal entry point for new users and organizations in the Middle East to start building in Web3. This is a major milestone for the intersection of telecommunications and blockchain, providing unprecedented opportunities for innovation and development within Bahrain and beyond. To celebrate the launch, stc Bahrain and Avalanche are kicking off the first Makeathon + Hackathon, a 30-day global competition to build on Intersect. stc Bahrain is proud to announce the launch of Intersect, a new blockchain network on Avalanche, aimed at advancing Web3 innovation, promoting digital transformation, and creating a thriving ecosystem for decentralized applications (dApps) globally.   To celebrate the launch, a 30-day virtual Web3 Makeathon + Hackathon will be held starting August 12, with stc Bahrain and Avalanche as title sponsors. The event will feature coding and non-coding tracks.
