3D cell culture is gaining its popularity in biology research, allowing cells in vitro to grow in all directions, similar to how they would in vivo. In today's post, we feature the use of #Cellaris for spheroid growth monitoring. Briefly, Hep3b cancer cells cultured in #OrganiX (AIM Biotech) were labelled with Cellaris 670 and 506 (Luminicell) respectively during seeding stage (Day 0). Spheroids with size of ~500 µm were imaged at Day 5 and 11. #Cellaris, our flagship cell labelling kits, are well-characterised for their unparalleled photo-physical properties (signal longevity and photo-stability), designed to be the best-in-class reagent for long-term live cell experiments. Happy #FluorescentFriday ! Today, we are pleased to share the results of NIR-II vessel imaging done on a whole mice, with the use of our Vascular Tracker 1010! Upon IV injection, Vascular Tracker is able to stay within the blood circulation system for up to several hours, and they are highly photo-stable. This enables researchers to conduct high-quality, long-term imaging with remarkable clarity for their studies. NIR-II fluorescent probes penetrate deep into tissue with significantly reduced background noise, delivering an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio for precise imaging. A special thanks to Dr. Xavier Le Guevel and Dr Veronique Josserand from IAB Grenoble (Université Grenoble Alpes) for their outstanding work, where Montecarlo Restoration was also applied to improve the image contrast and spatial resolution.
