Blending cutting-edge innovation with waterfront luxury, the newly completed 𝘙𝘦𝘦𝘧 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨’𝘴 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘬 showcases Singapore's first floating deck in a residential development; setting a new benchmark for waterfront living in Singapore! Jointly developed by Mapletree and Keppel (Real Estate Division), the 𝘙𝘦𝘦𝘧 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨’𝘴 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘬 is a 429-unit luxury waterfront project strategically located in the HarbourFront and Keppel Bay precincts, and is within the Greater Southern Waterfront. It is a sustainable, next-generation luxury development which encompasses the convenience of city-living, the tranquility of nature and the luxury of true waterfront living. Spanning 180 metres, the iconic floating deck houses an ensemble of swimming pools – an Olympic-length pool, a leisure pool and a rejuvenation pool. Besides providing residents a unique vantage point to appreciate the heritage elements of the historical King’s Dock, the platform also houses a marine viewing area, where special patterns were incorporated onto the submerged portions of the floating deck to encourage corals and as well as other local marine flora and fauna to grow and thrive. The marine viewing area allows residents and visitors to observe the marine ecology in King’s Dock, with the aim to enhance environmental awareness and conservation. #Mapletree #ReefatKingDock #waterfrontliving #environment #conservation

This visit is part of the Group's CSR commitment under the 𝘔𝘢𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘔𝘜 to nurture future leaders in the real estate industry. Mr Osamu Pedro Ebinuma, CEO, Mapletree Japan welcomed the students. The Mapletree Japan team shared about how Mapletree has strengthened its presence in the local real estate industry by identifying growth opportunities. The students also visited the Keihinjima Warehouse, well-located near the Haneda International Airport in Tokyo, to gain a deeper understanding of our logistics business and better appreciate the diversity of real estate.  Two students, Tra Bibi (Year 4, Lee Kong Chian School of Business) and Andrius Wong (Year 3, School of Accountancy) said, "We gained valuable insights into the Japanese logistics market during our tour of the newly developed Keihinjima Warehouse and were able to observe firsthand some of the sustainability initiatives implemented in the warehouse. We are grateful for the warm hospitality of the team at Mapletree Japan, and for the opportunity to engage with them. Thank you for making our visit both informative and enjoyable!" #Mapletree #MapletreeRealEstateProgramme #MaplereeCSR

The inaugural 𝘔𝘢𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘓𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 kicked-off on 3 October 2024, and was oversubscribed with more than 200 attendees gaining insights into innovative, mindful and sustainable building design and development. Hosted by NTU Asian School of the Environment (ASE), organised by CIFAL Singapore at NTU and supported by Mapletree, the lecture series is part of the 𝘔𝘢𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘦 - which was established in 2023 - to advance the field of sustainability through annual sustainability lectures and scholarships for NTU undergraduates. Thomas Heatherwick, founder of multi-award winning Heatherwick Studio, headlined the lecture to share his knowledge on humanising architecture through the balance of aesthetics and environmental considerations in building design. This was followed by an insightful panel discussion with Mr Heatherwick; Mr Craig Miller, Partner & Head of China, Heatherwick Studio; Dr Pang Chin Hong, Head of Group Sustainability, Mapletree; and moderated by Professor Adam Switzer from NTU’s ASE. The panel discussion explored the intersection of cutting-edge architectural design, sustainable development and nature-based solutions in Asia; and how these elements can shape the future of urban environments in Singapore and abroad.   Expressing Mapletree's hopes for the programme, Mr Edmund Cheng, Chairman of Mapletree said, “As a strong supporter of education and sustainability causes, Mapletree is committed to creating a positive environment and generating long-term sustainable returns. We hope that this inaugural lecture not only provided insights, but also inspired participants to delve deeper into creative and sustainable architectural approaches. We hope that the academia will continue to collaborate with like-minded partners and industry experts to advance environmental literacy.” #Mapletree #MapletreeSustainabilityProgramme #SustainableBuilding
