Passionate about humanising the world through systemic ideas. Experienced in management, building individuals and teams to deliver results.
Why do I think this is the SYSTEMIC event of the year? At least for Singapore. 1. It has more than 20 workshops presented by local professionals. You will get a sense of the quality and type of systemic practice in our local context. 2. It will be the first of many Systemic conferences that CCC will organise collaboratively with her partners to promote systemic thinking and practice not only locally but also regionally! 3. We have segments where we invite experienced family therapists to reflect on the state of systemic work in Singapore as well as another session for young family therapists to reflect on their aspiration for the future! 4. We even have a segment on “what matters to clients” as one of the plenary! All these reasons make this conference truly a “not to be missed” event for all systemic practitioners. Sign up today and be tapped into the latest developments of systemic practice in Singapore.

We’re excited to announce a momentous partnership between the United Nations Global Compact’s #PRME initiative and our nonprofit arm OCTAVE Institute Limited. This strategic collaboration was inked by Omid Aschari and our Chairman Chavalit Frederick Tsao at UN’s Summit of the Future during Climate Week 2024, representing our commitment to reshape university systems worldwide to drive sustainability and accelerate progress on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At the core of this partnership is the creation of a university focusing on sustainability, spearheaded by Octave Institute. This institution will serve as a new model of higher education systems globally, embracing a holistic approach that prioritises innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility. TPC and OCTAVE Institute Limited aim to cultivate professionals who can lead market transformations, drive social change and champion environment responsibility. Together with UNGC’s #PRME, we hope to set a new global standard for leadership in the 21st century. OCTAVE Institute Limited is grateful to co-host Singapore Leaders Network (SGLN)’s “Embracing Social Sustainability” event last Wednesday, receiving over 60 leaders to explore the importance of integrating social responsibility into business practices and organizational culture. As leaders, it is upon us to shift our consciousness and take action to create the change that we envision in our organizations and communities!
Last week, we came together for an evening of discovery and purpose at “Embracing Social Sustainability”, organised as part of the SGLN Fellowship Programme's Action Learning Project (ALP) series. The night began with a unique mindful cooking workshop led by Chef Jeremy Nguee (Culinary Director of TPC (Tsao Pao Chee)) which was not just about preparing a meal—it was an experience in mindfulness, demonstrating how intentional actions can make a positive impact. Working without recipes, we collaborated to create a delicious Nonya curry, a reflection of the power of trust, teamwork, and being present in the moment. It was a vivid reminder that social sustainability starts with the small, everyday actions we take to support one another. Following this, we had a dynamic panel discussion featuring industry leaders Jesher Loi (Director of Branding and Development of Ya Kun Kaya Toast), Dr. Kenneth Tan (Deputy Executive Director of OCTAVE Institute Limited), and Jessie Chong (Former Head of Singapore Association for Mental Health), each offering valuable insights into how they’re driving purposeful change in their organisations. We were also fortunate to be joined by keynote speaker Frederick Tsao, Chairman of TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), who explored the broader significance of social sustainability. He emphasised the importance of aligning our purpose, communication, and energy to create businesses that not only succeed but contribute positively to society. The evening left us with one clear message: social sustainability is more than a corporate initiative—it's a way of thinking that can transform how we work, live, and engage with the world around us. We would like to extend our appreciation to our SGLN fellows Alice Fok, Michelle Khoo, Robin Pho, IDP-C, Sueann Yeo, Tracie Teo, and De Rui Wong who organised this event as part of their Action Learning Project. Our gratitude also goes out to TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) for sponsoring this event. #SGLN #GlobalLeadership #SocialSustainability

OCTAVE Institute Limited is beyond excited to announce an inspiring partnership between our parent company, TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), and OceanX, the visionary ocean exploration non-profit under Dalio Philanthropies! Together with TPC’s No.17 Foundation, we are setting sail on a transformative journey to advance ocean research, conservation, and leadership development. Aboard the OceanX vessel, our Chairman, Chavalit Frederick Tsao, and OceanX Founder, Co-CEO Mark Dalio, signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 13 September 2024, marking a bold new chapter in our mission to protect and restore the oceans. At OCTAVE Institute, we believe the key to a sustainable future lies in quantum thinking—a shift in perspective that helps leaders see the interconnectedness of all life. By empowering the next generation of ocean leaders to think creatively, collaborate boldly, and co-create visionary solutions, we aim to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our oceans and the planet. As members of the Blue Oceans Community under Temasek Trust's Philanthropy Asia Alliance, we invite you to be part of this global movement for ocean sustainability. Together, we can create a future where Humanity flourishes through the restoration of nature and the sustainable use of our precious oceans!

Thank you Faye Ong for your kind words! We truly appreciate your questions & sharing during the program, which helped deepen the level of contemplation & exchange and enriched the overall learning experience for all of us!
Quantum Leadership is a shift in paradigm, and to recognise that in today's business world, success hinges on recognising that everything is connected, where knowing that you have a giant puzzle where each piece affects the others, creating a Web of interconnected relationships. I spent 2 highly enriching and thought provoking days at Singapore Management University Academy to attend Octave Institute's "Applying Quantum Thinking in Leadership and Sustainability Management to Foster Change, Transformation and Resiliance" program. It was wonderful learning about a new purpose led and values driven approach to current leadership models, and to understand how to apply quantum mechanics to adaptive organizational systems to achieve desired outcomes.
