🌍 𝗔𝗺𝗲́𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝘆 𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 tiene uno de los índices más altos de 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗼𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮́𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮, generando alrededor de 𝟮𝟯𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘀 de residuos sólidos al año, de los cuales aproximadamente el 𝟰𝟱% 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼́𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗮. 🏢 Este viernes 11 de octubre, AXA México abrió sus puertas para que la CCI France México realizara un taller sobre #EconomíaCircular, en colaboración con EcoCapacitas, en el marco de nuestro 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲́ 𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱. • Durante el taller, reflexionamos sobre el impacto de la #economíalineal y cómo, a partir de toda actividad humana, generamos efectos negativos en el #medioambiente, afectando el #clima, la #biodiversidad, la #salud y los #recursosnaturales. • El taller, a través de la sensibilización, dinámicas y la discusión grupal, nos permitió comprender la necesidad urgente de un cambio hacia un modelo más sostenible. • Uno de los momentos clave fue identificar las 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 para implementar una 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺í𝗮 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿, desde el rediseño de productos para repararlos y prolongar su uso hasta la gestión eficiente de residuos. • Los participantes pudieron intercambiar ideas sobre las #oportunidades y #desafíos que este cambio representa, con el objetivo de adoptar una visión sistémica de la #transiciónecológica y plantear soluciones. 🍂 Esta actividad transcurrió bajo la campaña del Otoño Circular, una iniciativa que pretende acelerar el desarrollo de las competencias de las empresas en los retos de la economía circular junto con las diferentes Cámaras de Comercio e Industria mediante la organización de talleres con profesionales. 🙌 Agradecemos a AXA, particularmente a Evelin Torres Santos, Especialista Senior en Responsabilidad Corporativa, y a Rocio Caicedo Torrado, Gerente de Proyectos de EcoCapacitas, por su valiosa colaboración, así como a todos los participantes por su activa participación en esta sesión que nos invita a replantear nuestro modelo de producción y consumo hacia un futuro más resiliente y sostenible. We are excited to announce our collaboration with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore (URA) on their exhibition, "Enabling Sustainable Growth: Shaping the Future of Work" 🌆, which runs until January 3, 2025, at the Singapore City Gallery. The PALO IT team developed the interactive component of the exhibition, utilizing Generative AI 🤖 technologies to allow attendees to share their visions for the city. This interactive exhibit was also presented to Mr. Kiat How Tan, Senior Minister of State for National Development and Digital Development and Information. The setup generates real-time visualizations 📊 based on attendee selections. Participants can choose the elements they wish to see by making selections on an iPad 📱, providing a glimpse into potential urban landscapes shaped by community feedback. Climate Fresk held at PALO IT with Students from National University of Singapore! 🌏 On Saturday, October 5th, we conducted a Climate Fresk workshop with NUS #students who are part of the module Green Communities in Action. 🎓 This workshop was opened to the students as part of their community #engagement! 🤝 Participants from different years and facilities came together to learn more about #climatechange and better understand the multiple challenges we have to face.
