PaxOcean is excited to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT. Jasa Peralatan Pelabuhan Indonesia (JPPI). This strategic partnership establishes a framework that enables PaxOcean’s Batam yard, PT Dok Warisan Pertama, to support Pelindo’s ship docking repairs and retrofits, as well as newbuilding projects. Mr Jerome Chew, COO of PaxOcean Group & Yard Director for PaxOcean Batam, emphasized that this partnership not only underscores PaxOcean’s standing as a leading shipyard in Indonesia, but through the development of additional capabilities also contributes to the growth of Batam as a vital hub for the maritime industry. President Director of JPPI, Mr Budi Pratomo, highlighted that this collaboration aims to broaden JPPI's operational footprint and strengthen its shipyard business capabilities. Our team has transformed a Platform Supply Vessel into a 97-meter Cableship. ASEAN Challenger features a 5.9-meter draft and a carrying capacity of 1000-tonne of fibre optics cables demonstrating our pursuit of industry-leading solutions. We’re grateful to Asean Cableship Pte Ltd, for their visionary collaboration and trust in our capabilities. This achievement is a result of our unwavering commitment to safety and quality. We’re proud to have achieved 1.2 million man-hours without lost-time incidents.
