Rahajeng Nyanggra Rahina Galungan & Kuningan 🪷 Galungan is a significant Balinese holiday celebrating the victory of dharma (good) over adharma (evil). During this time, the ancestral spirits of deceased relatives return to visit the Earth, and the Balinese people honor them with prayers and offerings. The celebration culminates in Kuningan, when the spirits depart. Central to these festivities are the penjors, beautifully decorated bamboo poles lining the streets. On September 7th-8th, our dynamic duo, Dr. Putri Rizka Lestari and Irsan Efendi, had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the Impact Investment Day (IID) at the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum 2024 (ISF) in Labuan Bajo. Hosted by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs Republic of Indonesia (Kemenko Marves) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), the ISF 2024 serves as a leading global platform, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange on #decarbonization and #sustainable #industries. The Impact Investment Day (IID) further amplifies this mission by connecting impact-driven initiatives with potential enablers. Irsan Efendi proudly presented our groundbreaking collaboration with Yayasan Tiga Pilar Pertiwi, highlighting how we're transforming rural communities through: 💧 WASH: Providing access to clean water and sanitation. 🌾 Sustainable Agriculture: Pioneering a biochar project to turn agricultural waste into valuable resources, reducing emissions and boosting yields. 👩🌾 Women's Empowerment: Equipping women with financial literacy and business skills to create sustainable livelihoods.
