Senior Application Support Engineer needed for a multi-strategy hedge fund with key presence in Hong Kong and Singapore! Mainly L1 for now as it is the FIRST APP SUPPORT HIRE for this team (currently Developers are supporting in rotation), but those joining will have a path to build out the support team and workflow, as well as work closely with a core tech team with lots of strategic initiatives and buy-in from the rest of the business. As the client continue to reduce their reliance on 3rd party trading systems, there will be more in-house SRE work to be done. This is an excellent role for tech-driven candidates who are up-and-coming within Trading Application Support, but does not necessarily possess the prior Engineering background for heavily technical setups - you will be trained by an in-house Engineering team which are experienced in building some of the most widely used applications in their respective prior fields. Alternatively, those with years of experience within a largely L1 + L2, buy side, 3rd party system support role and excel from a functional support standpoint could also be a fit.
