Our Head of Sustainability, Miak Ou, participated in a panel discussion on ESG and digitalisation at the recent Asia Pacific Real Assets Association (APREA) Singapore Conference 2025 recently.   Miak shared insights into how SC Capital Partners is integrating ESG considerations and leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and drive better investment outcomes. She also highlighted innovative approaches in sustainable development, including the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to optimize material use, improve energy efficiency, and streamline prefabrication processes.   It was a pleasure to take part in the discussions and connect with industry peers as APREA celebrates its 20th anniversary. Earlier this week, our Chairman, Suchad Chiaranussati, spoke at ANREV Tokyo's panel on "Hospitality Resurgence: Reviving the Travel and Tourism Sector." Alongside his fellow panelists, he delved into the current state of Japan's hospitality market and shared valuable insights on the sector's resilience against the current landscape.   Suchad spoke about the appeal of the Japanese hospitality sector based on his own experience on the ground - from his initial investments in 2010, to our recent acquisition of a 27-hotel portfolio situated across major tourist destinations in Japan.
