What if your workplace could be very mindful, very demure, effortlessly adapting to your every step around the office? As we celebrate World Green Building Week, the SJ Campus stands as a living example of how workplaces can go beyond the ordinary to create real environmental impact. In line with this year’s theme—REDUCE. ELECTRIFY. ADAPT.—our campus brings these principles to life with smart systems that optimise resource use, an underflow air distribution system to control zone temperature and utilisation of natural light that enhances our workspaces. With a goal to achieve up to 60% energy savings, we're paving the way for a sustainable future as we prepare to reach net zero by 2030. By seamlessly integrating with nature, the campus fosters well-being, productivity, and innovation—proving that a truly sustainable workplace can elevate both the environment and those within it. Ready to see sustainable design in motion? Watch the video to discover how the SJ Campus is redefining sustainable workplaces for the future. #WorldGreenBuildingWeek #WGBW24 #sustainability

The National Environment Agency (#NEA) explains that there is limited data on the efficacy of air purifiers in removing #formaldehyde, the chemical responsible for the “new house smell”. It is instead critical to select environmentally friendly building materials and maximise ventilation to remove formaldehyde. NEA also encouraged occupants to reduce formaldehyde sources by choosing low-emission building products certified by #SGBC’s Singapore Green Building Product (#SGBP) Certification Scheme. When choosing a suitable air purifier, users can choose air purifiers with #photocatalytic or activated carbon filters to trap or break down formaldehyde molecules.
