We were elated to host a special meet-and-greet session with Singapore's #Olympic badminton duo, Terry Hee and Jessica Tan, at Punggol Green Primary School. The event last Saturday, organised in collaboration with People's Association, drew a crowd of parents and children, including 12 lucky teenagers who had the opportunity to take part in a masterclass conducted by our Olympians.   We were also honoured to have Ms. Sun Xueling of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and Member of Parliament for Punggol West SMC, join us for the #community event.   At #Singlife, we believe in empowering Singaporeans to reach their dreams, whether it's representing the nation in the biggest sporting events or to be able to enjoy a comfortable retirement. As a trusted homegrown financial services partner, we're committed to supporting #Singaporeans in their journeys to financial freedom, providing the tools and resources needed to achieve it.   Thanks to everyone who made the weekend a special one, especially Terry and Jessica, who continue to inspire our youth to dream big and pursue their passions!     #CommunitySupport #DreamBig #Badminton #Olympics #FinancialWellbeing #Singapore #Tessica

"Won’t one!"   Hard truth: 1 in 4 Singaporeans may be diagnosed with a Critical Illness (CI) in their lifetime.    Yet, Singaporeans are under covered, with only 26% of the adequate insurance coverage needed to protect against the financial impact of CI.    CI refers to long-term and very serious illnesses including major cancer, stroke with permanent neurological deficit, end-stage kidney failure and severe dementia. The shortfall in insurance coverage means that an individual would have to dip into his/ her savings or seek other funding sources upon a CI diagnosis, adding to the impact and stress of a health crisis.    Some commonly asked questions we get are -   💡I've already got MediShield Life and an Integrated Shield Plan. Why do I still need a CI insurance plan?   💡How does a CI insurance claim work?    💡 How much CI coverage do I need?       Find out the answers to these questions and more at https://lnkd.in/gj4338ZT

We were proud to be the official insurance partner of the Great Green Run, providing Group Personal Accident and Heatstroke insurance coverage to all runners. 🏃🏃The event was presented by CIMB Singapore, Singlife’s strategic bancassurance partner.    200 Singlifers enjoyed a newly designed, scenic route passing through Marina Bay Sands, energised by the enthusiasm of each other and fellow runners. Singlifer Verna Goh was the fastest female runner and 5th fastest runner overall for the 10km run. Proud of you, Verna! 🙌    This run is part of an exciting lineup of activities during Singlife’s Mental Wellness and Sustainability Festival. Spanning the whole of October, the festival champions individual and community resilience as well as sustainability practices. 🌳 Together, we’re forging #ABetterWaytoSustainability!    Ko-Wen Chia Renita Chua eddy susanto

Exciting news! This month, we’re kicking off our very first Mental Wellness and Sustainability Festival at Singlife! 🎉 Themed “Resilient Together”, throughout October, Singlifers will have a fantastic lineup of activities and events designed to promote resilience, mental and physical health.   At our opening event, Group CEO Pearlyn Phau emphasised the importance of building resilience and shared how nurturing multiple pillars of wellbeing is crucial for developing true resilience. Our Head of People Function Wei Lin Chin hosted an inspiring sharing session by stroke survivor and author of the book “Stroke of Gratitude”, Mr Aanandha Sharurajah and his wife Ms Pathma Ananda. Singlifers at the session were moved by his personal journey of perseverance and recovery as he navigated major life challenges, identifying his “ikigai”. We have a lineup of wellness treats and workshops coming up, including how to live to 100 years old. Indeed, the better way to start the last quarter of 2024 as we work towards building a more resilient and sustainable future for ourselves and our community! #ABetterWaytoSustainability #MentalWellness #MentalWellbeing #ResilientTogether Rick Vargo Debra Soon Ashley Tan Linda Chan Helen Shen
