We’re excited to announce that we have signed a MOU with Hitachi to collaborate on next-generation data centres and GPU Cloud in Japan and potentially the wider Asia Pacific region under the lead of our Digital InfraCo unit. The strategic partnership will combine our extensive data centre and connectivity expertise and technology platforms with Hitachi’s differentiating capability that enables end-to-end data centre integration including green power solutions, cooling systems, storage infrastructure and data management. Together, we intend to sustainably enhance data centre performance and capabilities, thereby accelerating AI adoption and digital transformation of enterprises. Bill Chang, CEO of Singtel’s Digital InfraCo, said, “Our strategic partnership with Hitachi, a leader in digital systems and services fields, opens up new opportunities in a strategically important and expanding Japanese market. Building a strong ecosystem of partners has always been a priority at Singtel to better serve our customers and broaden our global reach. We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership with Bridge Alliance that will bring our GPU-as-a-Service offering to enterprises across the Southeast Asia. The leading telcos in the region such as AIS, Maxis and Telkomsel are among the alliance’s early adopters and have signalled interesting in the service to cater to the growing demand for AI computing in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia respectively. We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing our patented and award-winning all-in-one orchestration platform, Paragon, to Maxis. It’ll be Malaysia's first of such platform for 5G-Advanced (5G-A), 5G technology, edge computing, cloud and services for enterprises to accelerate #digitaltransformation across various verticals such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and public services. Singapore's National Day Parade, a much-anticipated annual event, takes place today. Our colleagues who are part of the Singtel marching contingent are raring to go after dedicating each Saturday over the past three months to perfect their marching. They proudly continue our longstanding tradition since the 1970s, with some of them having participated for over a decade. Our networks team has also been working behind the scenes through the years, lending our expertise and services for the staging of the parade as technology evolved over time. This year is no different. Our #Singtel5G network will power the National Day Parade celebrations and support key elements such as photography drones and large format displays.   Singtel's journey is closely intertwined with Singapore's transformation into today’s Smart Nation, from launching satellite services and laying the first submarine cable, to providing fibre and internet access to every household. Singtel has been part of Singapore’s national security journey for decades. We’re excited to announce our latest initiative to fortify Singapore’s resilience with the launch of Southeast Asia’s first National Quantum-Safe Network Plus (NQSN+), which employs modern quantum security solutions to protect enterprises against quantum threats. And to help enterprises understand and adopt the technology to protect their critical assets, we’ve also launched a customised programme that includes exploration workshops, integration testbeds and live trials - designed to guide and support enterprises at every step. We will also ensure risk-free and seamless integration of new quantum-safe technologies into their networks, so they are ready to face future threats. Mr Tian Chong Ng, Chief Executive Officer, Singtel Singapore said, “Singtel has always played a central role in our nation’s security. Though quantum computing may be in its nascent stages, it’s fast gaining velocity across critical information sectors, especially banking, healthcare and government services, and we want to ensure Singapore is ready for it. That’s why we specially-curated this programme to equip enterprises with the relevant skills and knowledge so they can take the necessary steps to future-proof their critical networks against potential quantum threats.
