#DidYouKnow: We’re embracing innovation to keep our MRT stations cleaner and more efficient! 🧼 With 89 advanced cleaning robots now in action, we’re transforming the way we maintain our stations. 🤖 These robots can clean a defined area in just 10 minutes — a significant improvement from the 30 minutes it used to take. This means a cleaner environment for everyone, faster. ⏱️ It’s just one of the many ways we’re leveraging technology to enhance your daily commute! 👍 #AllAboutTrains #Kaizen@SMRT

💗 Celebrating the heart of our (public transport) network! 💗 Caring Commuter Week 2024 (CCW) launched last weekend, organised by the Caring SG Commuters Committee, Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore, and Public Transport Council (PTC). 🥳 Aimed at fostering a caring commuter culture, CCW also honours those who have shown outstanding acts of care for others during their public transport journeys. 🥰 We are immensely proud of our #SMRT heroes recognised for going above and beyond: 🚍 SMRT Buses Captain (BC) Benedict Tan received the Caring Commuter Champion (Inspirers) Award from Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS), Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Transport, Mr Yam Keng Baey. In addition to being a dedicated bus captain, BC Benedict passionately advocates for bus safety and graciousness by volunteering for school engagements, and proactively supporting Caring SG Commuters initiatives. 🚆 SMRT Trains Station Manager (SM) Kelvin Leong and Senior Assistant Station Manager (SASM) Noorshaharudin Bin Misnam also received a letter of appreciation for helping to save the life of a heart attack victim at Yishun station in Aug this year. At the CCW launch, we shared about the SMRT train chimes initiative with Minister for Transport, Mr Hong Tat Chee, SPS Baey, and the Caring Commuter Steering Committee. 🎶 Produced in collaboration with The TENG Company, melodic chimes have been introduced across our trains and at over 70 SMRT stations to enhance commuter journeys, particularly for the visually impaired. 👍 SMRT Service Ambassador (SA) Bambi Kee, who has special needs, was also present at the opening ceremony of CCW 2024. 🌟 We are grateful for her unwavering devotion to serving commuters and remain committed to empowering every member of #MySMRT! ❤️💪 #AllAboutTrains #AllAboutBuses #FacesOfSMRT #ESG@SMRT #Inclusivity
