🤯First time meeting a Nobel laureate! Wrapping my trip in Beijing on a high note with an inspiring session by The Nobel Prize laureate Sir Andre Geim, after a full week of fruitful meetings with customers and partners of Sourcy. A decade ago, I first visited Beijing as a management consultant advising clients like Nissan Motor Corporation and Hyundai Motor Company (현대자동차) on their sourcing challenges. The smog then was so dense that I could barely see my own hands while walking outside. Fast forward to today: the air quality is consistently excellent, and I could really enjoy my jog outside Peking University. 🍃 But even more remarkable than the air quality is the transformation of China’s manufacturing sector.
