On March 25, 2025, SEAS members had the privilege of visiting the SERIS PV Monitoring System Lab, hosted by Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS). The lab showcases SERIS’ cutting-edge real-time analytical monitoring capabilities for photovoltaic systems and meteorological parameters. It has been successfully deployed across multiple PV projects in Asia-Pacific and Europe, and also meets the rigorous data standards required by EMA PSO, Singapore’s power system operator, for PV systems in Singapore. The SEAS members also learned about the new SERIS spin-off, the PV DOCTOR, which is an Asset Performance Management company that commercialises the SERIS advancements and bring them to the market. Apart from Smart O&M, the PV DOCTOR also helps asset owners rectify under-performing solar assets.   A heartfelt thank you to the SERIS team for their warm hospitality and for making this insightful session possible. SEAS representatives Mr. Edwin Khew, Ms. Nor Azlyn Supingi, Mr. Syed Adam, and Mr. Dr Deven Chhaya from KPMG Singapore presented #DigiLeap as the key focus of discussion, highlighting its success in project matching, platform partnerships, and industry impact.   Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, Ms. Grace Fu, provided positive feedback, encouraging further collaboration with companies, banks, and associations to strengthen the platform’s foundation.   Additionally, SEAS shared an overview of its activities, including committee meetings, networking events, Asia Clean Energy Summit, and the Asia Carbon Summit, reinforcing its role in the sustainability ecosystem. With Minister Fu’s support, SEAS will continue to enhance DigiLeap’s reach and partnerships to drive #sustainable growth.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve had the honor of working alongside remarkable women in the environmental and development sectors, whose passion for change has inspired me to strive for a sustainable, clean energy future.   I’m proud to be part of a growing community of women leading the charge in Asia—whether through clean tech innovations or advocating for policy reforms.
