It was great to have David Hoffman, Senior Advisor of The Conference Board of Asia in Singapore last month, sharing his thinking on global supply chains and emerging markets trends. At our Asia Corporate Leadership Council (ACLC) meeting in Singapore, 20 C-suite leaders explored how multinational businesses should view the Global South, especially Southeast Asia, as a strategic growth area. Key topics discussed by speakers Eric Olander 欧瑞克 - Editor-in-Chief, The China Global South Project and David included navigating strategic competition, re-globalization, and country-specific developments in India, Indonesia, and Vietnam. We also joined The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore)'s panel on The New Supply Chain Playbook, where David joined experts Pamela Qiu - Partner, Control Risks and Sachin Shikrapurkar - Director Business Development – APAC, FM Logistic. Moderated by Kevin Foster, Editorial Manager, Argus Media, the panel shared insights on the "China + N" strategy and the challenges of supply chain diversification. Thanks to all our partners for making these discussions so valuable, and a special thanks to The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham Singapore) team, including Crystal Kim, Hannah Halim, and Jessica Cho, for their collaboration.
