𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲
At Tech Data APAC 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 was more than just a celebration—it was a moment to reflect, learn, and reaffirm our commitment to gender equity.
From a 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 to a 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on Un𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, the event highlighted how far we’ve come—and the work that still lies ahead.
Our 𝗔𝗣𝗝 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, Jaideep Malhotra's 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 and Singapore 𝗚𝗠, Mark Tan's 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 reinforced the company’s commitment to 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗘𝗜), aligning with this year’s theme: "Accelerated Action." Because real change doesn’t happen without intention, effort, and continuous progress.
One of the most inspiring takeaways came from our CIO Kristie Grinnell, who reminded us:
💡 "𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿.”
Whether through mentoring, advocating, or simply speaking up for what’s right, each of us has a role to play. Let us keep pushing forward, where equality, opportunity and empowerment become realities for all!
