For this whole week, Terra Academy will be having an exhibit at Funan Mall Atrium at Basement 2 as we showcase some of our plastic and recycling machines and products as well as programmes that we conducted as an #SGEcofund grantee in 2024 🌿 We managed to conduct a Plastic Recycling workshop for some of the grantees in 2025 and get to meet Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability & the Environment @baeyyamkeng at the exhibit. Our exhibit will be featured till this 23rd of March 2025 at Funan Mall Atrium! Do come down to visit if you are around the area! We recently conducted a Plastic Recycling workshop for a whole school and the students get to learn about recycling and get to explore our Grinders and microrecyclers and created their karabiners out of recycled plastic! Terra Academy was part of the M3 @ Pasir Ris Punggol Beach Clean up over the weekend and we were delighted to be able to support in the programme! 🌿What is Neco Fiesta? Neco Fiesta started out as an intention for fundraising to support a Cat 🐈 Shelter. That led to some of the WICTS and Terra Academy community to come together, bridging the impact of Eco and Fundraising for the cats in this event. As we are giving out preloved items a new life, we help to raise funds for the shelter as well. We hope to be able to bring the Eco lovers and Cat lovers together in this event as we create impact as a community. 🌿Parking Day at Tzu Chi Humanistic Centre was a blast! 💥 Centre for Community Wellbeing had 2 parklets this year and decided to team up with #TeamTerraAcademy for the ‘Life In Plastic’ Parklet at Tzu Chi 😎 You guys must have already seen the videos shared by some of the attendees from the ‘Happiness in a Jar’ parklet team at Science Centre Singapore 🫶 We just loved the concept by Bold At Work turning parking lots and spaces into community spaces for a day where we get to mingle and connect with the residences around Yishun area on what it means to Design A Good life. Much appreciation to our Parklet team for the day for supporting during the Parking Day event at the same time educating the attendees on what it means to give plastic a 2nd chance. So happy to see the smiley faces of those who came by to our Parklet as they were engaged with the Microrecyclers and get to know a bit more about microplastics and had a hands on with our clean up equipments 😊 Much appreciation to Tzu Chi Humanistic Centre for the venue, Bold At Work team for making sure we are okay and for guiding us through the process as well as the other parklets that were there that we managed to connect with! Our team had so much fun!
