  • Over the last two weeks, our Junior Members embarked on an exciting deep sea and outdoor cooking adventure as part of the 2024 Eagle Explorers Summer Camp. At the S.E.A. Aquarium, they explored the wonders of aquatic animals and plants 🪼🐠🦈. Then, they headed to East Coast Park for hands-on outdoor cooking, grilling up delicious chicken wings and hot dogs, and relishing their culinary creations 🍗🌭. What a memorable experience!

  • Meet Amie, our Assistant Banquet Sales & Catering Manager. Joining the Club in 2023, Amie excels in planning, conceptualizing, and managing events for Members and their Guests. Her excellent multitasking and time management skills are essential as she collaborates with a variety of stakeholders, including Members, vendors, and Team Members, to ensure every event is successful and memorable. Despite starting with no background in banquet and catering, Amie's self-driven and innovative nature, combined with strong support from her colleagues, enabled her to quickly master her role. She loves engaging with Members from diverse backgrounds, which has broadened her perspective and sparked new ideas. What Amie cherishes most is bringing Members' dream events to life. Outside of work, Amie enjoys a wide range of hobbies, from exploring new sports to indulging her interests in cars, feng shui (Chinese geomancy), learning new languages, and volunteering. Currently, she is learning golf and the Thai language. Amie lives by the mantra, “the world will be a much better place if everyone treats each other with kindness.” She has traveled to developing regions to build schools and teach underprivileged children. While many aim to buy without worrying about the price, Amie's goal is to donate freely to those in need.

  • What’s a celebration without cake and balloons? 🎂🎈 Yesterday, July 4, The American Club team, including Club President Daniel Gewirtz and General Manager Christine Kaelbel-Sheares, along with Members, commemorated America's 248th birthday with a spectacular cake-cutting session. The event featured special appearances by George Washington, Lady Liberty, and Eli the Eagle, much to the delight of the little ones 🦅🗽. The festivities concluded with a sea of red, white, and blue balloons cascading from above, adding to the the patriotic spirit 🇺🇸. It was a joyous celebration filled with excitement and pride 🥳.
