On 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, we gathered to celebrate the incredible talents of budding designers at 𝐎𝐕𝐎𝐋’𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. With over 150 submissions from art students across Singapore, the competition highlighted the creativity and imagination of young minds, all inspired by this year’s theme: “𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞”. This theme challenged participants to think beyond today and present their unique perspectives of what the future holds. We are proud to announce the 12 winners who stood out among the amazing submissions. A big congratulations to our gold winner 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐨 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐢 from The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology! A big thank you to Allianz Trade for being a wonderful partner and sponsoring Allianz Trade Aspire Award which was awarded to 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧 from LASALLE College of the Arts. We also extend our gratitude to the participating schools, including Institute of Technical Education College Central, LASALLE College of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Temasek Polytechnic and The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, for nurturing these talented young designers. Sustainability and reusability was a primary consideration for Govtech's rPPG station. Thus, we worked with SP’s Fablab to design from scratch temporary, yet reusable, carboard furniture that was suitable for public use.
