Singapore introduced the Future Energy Fund (FEF) during the Budget earlier this year to support the nation’s transition towards clean energy. Our Chief Operating Officer, Michael Wong, was interviewed on Channel News Asia and commented that the FEF was the government's effort to bridge the gap between investors and consumers, ensuring that electricity prices remain affordable for consumers. Tuas Power is happy to be part of this journey towards Singapore’s transition to clean energy. Powering Up Our Vision for a Sustainable Future We're thrilled to share insights from our recent participation in the Energy Managers Programme 2024 plant visit in July! Our managers, Lim Soo Wah and Willy Koh, had the privilege of immersing themselves in innovative energy solutions at the Singapore Cooling District and Sembcorp Tengeh Floating Solar Farm. These site visits were an invaluable opportunity to learn from industry peers and gain fresh perspectives on sustainable energy practices. Soo Wah was impressed with the ingenious use of space and technology, inspiring us to explore similar approaches for our projects. Willy highlighted the importance of well-planned infrastructure in optimising energy consumption, as shown by the Singapore District Cooling system. This visit has ignited new ideas on how Tuas Power can contribute to a greener and more efficient future. As Singapore's leading electricity provider, we are committed to driving sustainable energy solutions. These experiences have reinforced our dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering exceptional value to our customers and the community. #TuasPower #EnergyManagersProgramme #Leadership #SingaporeInstituteofPowerandGas
