UNL is a smart micro-location infrastructure and new-generation mapping technology startup building the Internet of Places - a digital 1:1 geodata twin of the physical world. Using the UNL Interface VPN (Virtual Private Maps ) one of the students Akshita Lahkar demonstrated various applications the interface could be useful for at the session conducted by the faculty Pawan. In the first instance, she demonstrated important POIs in Delhi. A Situation in Delhi with route optimization connecting Indira Gandhi International Airport with the locality area in Karol Bagh. The Next Example was Optimizing the Route connecting the same locations, with time reduced to 1 hour from 1 hour to 42 min. The total distance and distance help us analyse the cost matrix in the UNL Studio, from a certain location to any destination point. These destinations, mentioned above are the historical locations like India Gate, Purana Qila, UPSC, etc. From the airport. The final demonstration of using Iso areas(time travel 360 seconds) within the DLF Complex in Delhi. UNL Interface has certainly made strides in geo-visualizing Akshita's Life in Delhi and ensuring security and safety for a young aspiring girl.
