Hi LinkedIn, Look what we did last week! Vantage Point Security participated in An international cyber exercise taking place online as part of the Innovation Space at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) Standoff 365 Cyberbattle Competition, a thrilling competition for red and blue teamer. We secured the top spot on the leaderboard and achieved the fastest attack execution in the Red Team category. Our expertise in Financial Services gave us an edge, especially in the Banking Sector, where we scored the highest points. During the cyberbattle, red teams (ethical hackers) attack the systems of companies in the virtual state. For example, they might try to steal bank customer data, hack the traffic light control system, or halt the operation of an oil refinery. Teams score points for successful attacks and discovered vulnerabilities. We achieved numerous RCE and Privilege Escalation attacks, some initiated from phishing attacks leading to code execution on the email receiver's PC. We also triggered several critical events, including leaks of 2FA keys, customer data, and malicious code execution inside bank service containers. We're proud of our team's dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence in cyber security!
