'One of our most innovative contributions to the EV industry is Voltality’s VoltNet platform, which is akin to a “Google Translate” for EV charging management systems. Inspired by the technical fragmentation in Southeast Asia’s charging infrastructure, the VoltNet platform addresses the challenge of standardisation by providing a software solution that allows charging operators to join Beep’s network with minimal cost and coordination," says Beep Kristoffer Jacek Soh Zhi Wei Benjamin Long #e27News

🔌 Increasing Convenient Charging Accessibility Across 🇸🇬 On 29th July we joined forces with ChargEco, signing an MOU to establish our partnership to bring ChargEco’s network of charging stations onboard our #eRoaming platform, #VoltNet! With nearly 400 #chargepoints installed islandwide, ChargEco is one of the five key operators awarded by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore to collectively deploy charging stations in nearly 2,000 public Housing & Development Board car parks, whilst installing DC #fastchargers in highly convenient locations including SAFRA, Wisma Atria and more. We are excited to work with a key player in Singapore’s EV charging market to accelerate its electrification journey together. Mobility partners connected through #VoltNet will soon be able to enjoy seamless access to ChargEco’s stations with no added technical or commercial effort required. Through this collaboration, we will achieve a momentous milestone of over 4,000 #chargepoints partnered in Singapore, as we continue to expand coverage for thousands more points in 🇲🇾, 🇹🇭 and beyond. Stay tuned for more exciting ecosystem partnerships across South-East Asia! #eRoaming #electriccharging #EV #publiccharging #partnerships

👋 Sawasdee Thailand! 🇹🇭 On the week of 13th May, we joined Enterprise Singapore and 14 other companies for an #ElectricMobility mission, where we marked a momentous milestone in launching #eRoaming connectivity for Thailand, announcing our partnership to enable roaming access between 5 different fleets and charging operators connected through the #VoltNet platform powered by Voltality (in alphabetical order): EVME PLUS Co., Ltd. - As the country's largest and fastest-growing EV digital platform, EVme is committed to promoting the widespread adoption of electric vehicles and fostering sustainable mobility, serving both retail and corporate customers. With features like direct charger location and connectivity via eRoaming, EVme can ensure an effortless EV journey for all users. Evolt Technology - Established in 2017, Evolt specialises in delivering EV charging solutions for both commercial and residential needs. With over 660 charge points managed across diverse locations including shopping malls, offices, hotels and hospitals, Evolt is fostering widespread EV adoption with convenient and efficient charging infrastructure and a robust operational team. Grab - As the largest ride-hailing and deliveries player in Southeast Asia, Grab has committed to their platform being Carbon Neutral by 2040. Supporting their drivers’ transition to low or zero emission modes of transport such as EVs is a key lever to achieving that goal. Grab is working with EV leasing, financing and distributor partners to make EVs more accessible for their driver-partners, and adding support for seamless charging once drivers make the switch is a crucial part of Grab’s electrification journey. SHARGE Management - As the exclusive charging provider for BYD and a leading charging operator in Thailand, Sharge aims to double its existing base of 1,000 charge points by the end of 2024, with installations at BYD showrooms and strategic locations including Bangchak and Susco stations, offering attractive nationwide coverage for driver and fleet partners. WHA Group - As the leading developer of fully integrated logistics, industrial estates, power utilities and digital solutions, WHA is building a complete EV ecosystem for commercial vehicles where real time charging connectivity through eRoaming forms an integral part of its platform to help optimise vehicle utilisation and downtime planning. With #ElectricVehicle adoption growing nearly 7 times between 2022 and 2023, Thailand is well-positioned to be the leader in electrification within the ASEAN region. In line with the Thai government’s 30@30 policy, these 5 companies are taking up the mantle to electrify their fleets and deploying electric charging infrastructure to support the rapid growth and demand for public charging. We are proud to play our part in helping accelerate ecosystem growth with our partners, and look forward to a cleaner, greener future together! #eRoaming #ElectricVehicleCharging #Thailand

Here’s to a super-charged year ahead! 2023 has been a momentous year for us, where we: ⚡️ Facilitated nearly 1 #GWh of energy through our platforms across over 30,000 charging sessions for our customers - that’s enough power to switch on 100,000,000 💡 LED Bulbs!!! 🚀 Announced the largest #eRoaming network in the region, with 11 operators and 5 mobility partners in 🇸🇬 Singapore, together with our parent company’s Seed #fundraising round - https://lnkd.in/gaKuXsmq 🎉 Were 1 of 5 startups selected to win the Petronas #FutureTech Award from it’s FutureTech 3.0 accelerator program, from an initial pool of over 400 applicants - https://lnkd.in/eD8sYfuf Did you know that 2023 was also a significant year of growth for EV adoption in our region? 🇸🇬 EVs formed more than 20% of all cars sold in July 2023, nearly double the 11.7% in end 2022. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore has also formally commenced the #ElectricVehicleChargingAct on 8 December 2023, setting in place clearer regulations to support the maturing market. 🇲🇾 More than 9,000 BEVs were registered in 2023, making up nearly 75% of the total cumulative number of 12,000 BEVs recorded since 2011, and 3.4x more than the 2,631 recorded in 2022. There are now more than 40 models of EVs for Malaysians to choose from in the market. 🇹🇭 In the first 10 months of 2023, 77,741 BEVs were registered, more than 3.7x the 20,816 recorded in 2022 and more than 2x the total record of 31,168 from 2019 to 2022 combined. Just like Malaysia, there are also more than 40 models of EV cars that Thais can pick from for their next purchase. With such a rapidly evolving market, we’re excited to continue working together with the industry to enable a better charging experience for drivers. Stay tuned as we gear up for the official launch of our regional expansion with key partners in the near future!

🔔 Are you up-to-date on the latest #EVChargingAct recently announced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore? "By end-2024, companies providing public charging services must also allow users to pay by credit card or by scanning a QR code, instead of only via the firms’ smartphone apps or charge cards ... Voltality, which has experience installing payment systems for chargers, said it has worked with some charging operators to allow payment either by tapping a credit card on a standalone terminal or online through a webpage. Its chief executive Kristoffer Jacek Soh Zhi Wei said the company’s solution works on chargers without the need for modifications." As #Singapore continues on its electric transformation, establishing a formal EV charging law is a crucial next step in a maturing ecosystem to ensure #stability, #safety and #accessibility for drivers. With our products, #VoltPOS (as featured in The Straits Times article image) and #VoltNow, EV charging operators can easily stay compliant with Singapore's updated requirements without changing or modifying your charger hardware or management systems, reducing adoption costs for your network of stations. To find out more or request for a trial, contact us at hello@voltality.io with the title "LTA EV Charging Act"! #evcharging #payments #seamlessintegration https://lnkd.in/gsntEuZ6
